Recorded live at Park On Fremont in Downtown Las Vegas for Subtle Sol's Garden Party on May 23, 2021. 
Subtle Sol is a Downtempo, Midtempo, Deep House, & Electronica weekly event talking place every Sunday evening at 6pm. Located in the heart of Downtown on the corner of Fremont St. & Las Vegas Blvd is the garden oasis that will quickly transport you from the Vegas bustle into a a lush, intimate environment filled with temperate house music and friendly faces.

Pseudosimian and I had so much fun during this final set of 2022 with live sax by Sojourner and vocal by Trice Be. The live element always adds such a robust flavor to the environment which is hard to recreate when listening back. But i loved this night so much and the energy leading up to the end of the year that I couldn't not post it :) The set starts with a half hour of myself then the next by Pseudosimian, from there it's a quadfectca of family love! 

To finish out the night we had my friend Adrian aka Magician On Duty as our special guest to close out the evening <3 Much love to MOD for coming a day early out toVegas to groove with us! This was his 3rd Subtle Sol performance, and certainly not his last ;)

This one felt really good to play as I haven't played a full set in this style in a while <3

Downtempo House is the genre that I feel most at home DJing and the alignment was certainly felt during this live recording for my friends YouTube project "HouseGuest Radio."

Danny Kolk joins the ALWM roster with his tracks 'Infected' and 'I Got You.' With releases on nearly every Tech House label you can think of, he is no stranger to creating absolute bangers. Danny's prolific output even led him to start his own two imprints to keep up with his production. 'Infected' is a percussion-driven track that intensifies as it progresses. The song features dynamic sounds popping in and out. Soothing vocals, crunchy pops and crackles, and just the right touch of ear candy bring the song together perfectly. 'I Got You' boasts a funky bass, sassy vocal line, and more of Danny's signature groovy percussion. And who can resist the train horn? We are thrilled for you all to hear this awesome release.

BIO:

J.Handel has propagated a vibrant myriad of musical styles from the California coastal culture that shaped his journey into the realm of DJing in 2010. Since, his commitment to creating tailored sonic experiences across diverse environments continues to refine the way he shares sound and space with people. 

Since 2015, J has called Las Vegas home, balancing a versatile presence DJing across the city in clubs, lounges, restaurants, and special events. He also holds ample Wellness collaborations with Rooted Lounge, Action Mastery, Breath House, Shakti Sanctuary, and The Self Nourished. All while maintaining a steady presence as an event coordinator, hosting events with AREA15 and curating his own experiences through his companies Subtle Sol & Subtle Bass.

We have been sifting the dance music scene since early 2018, giving aspiring DJs a multitude of platforms to share their sound and musical journey. An array of talent is captured through our mix series "Mirrors", allowing listeners to experience a true sonic reflection of each selector that's featured. We also introduced "morning drive", diving into each artist's interpretation of an early listen. The objective of our digital record label focuses on showcasing the underground, shining our light on the art of music production. Roughly based in Southern California, we strive to bring you the best up-and-coming artists from all around.
