Tom Carew and Kevin Myers are the main speakers at a conference held on 24 April 2024 in Dublin at Buswells Hotel organised by Neale Jagoe of the Dunmanway Discussion Group to commemorate the Dunmanway Massacre in west Cork around April 1922 and other atrocities of that era.
The chairman is Jeff Dudgeon.
Speakers: Tom Carew gives a talk on the topic of the Ballycongree Orphanage burning in June 1922. Kevin Myers talks about the historical and current topic, 'Coercive amnesia: republicanism's essential weapon'. Questions and other contributions follow the main addresses.

The Reform Group held a half day seminar on the forgotten patriots of Irish parliamentary democracy in the 19th and 20th centuries. Subjects covered include John Dillon and Daniel Desmond Sheehan. Seminar took place on Saturday 15 October 2016 at Wynn’s Hotel, Dublin. Speakers were Dermot Meleady, Tom Carew, Frank Callanan, and John Bruton.
