[Mortatoriel 1-5] Last Time

In a time not too long ago, HUMANS and MONSTERS coexisted.
Led by two brilliant scientists, one human and one monster, technology improved at an astonishing rate, and soon, AUTOMATONS were introduced.
But the monster scientist was overly ambitious, and made his robotic creations far too strong.
The AUTOMATONS massacred both HUMANS and MONSTERS.
In an aftermath of blood and dust, the monsters retreated out of pure shame.
Feeling guilty and fearing that some AUTOMATONS might follow, the MONSTERS hid in a cave system underneath a mountain, vowing to hide as long as necessary, and to never trust "artificial intelligence" ever again.

This is the Flowey replacement, Otto! They're an interesting little robot, with a lot to teach our hero about machines and morality. Not gonna lie, I love this lil' guy, no matter what anyone says. And yes, they are an alteration of the unused "98" robot.

OST 46 - Cyclone Shock

I don't think I've mentioned it publicly yet, but yes, Smallerspin is gonna have some Deltarune inspirations.

Anyway, the Ruins are replaced by an area known as "the Gardens". True to its name, its floors are lined with grass and flowers and its walls are covered in vines. It is home to a bunch of monsters that wish to isolate themselves, including Mettacrit, Burgerpants, and a certain cool skeleton.
