This week on the Ismcast we have Mayeul.

The Frenchman with a love for acid has finally contributed to the Ismcast and what a set. Mayeul has been an artist that Ismus has kept a close eye on since the very beginning, having made his Berlin debut with us back in 2018. Since then he has grown at a fantastic rate becoming one of the main names coming out of France for harder electronic music. He is also one half of the Jawbreakers project alongside his main man JKS.

This set takes us back to the sounds of 90s techno and really displays a vast music knowledge for such a young artist.

For FrenzyPodcast 99, and number four of the Summer Series, we have invited the Croatian powerhouse Insolate.

Over the past years Insolate has proven that she is one of the most interesting artists our scene has to keep an eye on. Many strong releases, such as her ‘Sins EP’ on Ben Sims’ label Symbolism and ‘Cern Research Center 35’ on Developer’s Modularz, have already had a great impact on the dancefloor. 

Besides building her way on a musical level, Insolate is a great contributor to the Croation music scene as well. As a co-host of TRAUM (together with Volster, who provided FrenzyPodcast #096), she makes sure a great selection of quality techno comes to her country.

Bio :

Staryk – DJ, collector and promoter of music from Gdynia, Poland. Surrounded by music since his early
years starting with the long, arduous years with classic guitar and drums.
Inspired by music vision created by labels such as SKeleven, KSR, Key Vinyl or Hayes. Combines fast
paced, percussive, techno with various textures and deep, hypnotic vibe.
As a passionate digger he also promotes the sound of talented, underground, artist who are not
published by any of the labels yet. On the scene since 2019 when he played his first DJ set for wide
audience on Gdańsk shipyard.
Since then, he has an opportunity to regularly present his techno vision playing vinyl and digital sets,
either live on stage or publishing mixes for Polish and international music platforms.
As a member of Polish Techno.logy label he is responsible for promoting latest releases of independent
electronic music. He is also one of the players from PPL showcase crew which organizes events in legal
and “less legal” manner around north, seaside, Polish area.

An avid vinyl collector and techno and house enthusiast, his DJ sets and tracks combine raw, dark and deep elements with straightforward grooves reminiscent of the dark winter closings of Berlin techno clubs. He is resident DJ at the Château Perché Festival, and has forged the festival's techno musical identity through bookings with big names such as Freddy K, Sev Dah, Milton Bradley... His motto focuses on the flow of the set: 'It's all about the groove, a dancefloor, a sensual orgy between you and me.'

Antonio Ferrara aka BLACK CROW is an emerging DJ / producer on the Turin scene. First resident of Genau, one of the most niche organizations in Italy, where he shared important performances with international artists such as Adriana Lopez, Cleric, Klangkuenstler, Amotik, Flavia Lauss, Stephanie Sykes and many others such as Anna, Layton Giordani, Milo Spikers, Nastia, Raven, Enrico Sangiuliano and others. He was also resident dj of OVER (movement). Currently Black Crow supports the collective Synergia where he became resident dj Performing with artist as Rebecca delle Piane,Zippo or DJ Plant Texture.He performed in more than 40 clubs releasing around a. Hundred tracks during these Years. In his tracks you can always recognize dark atmospheres with traveling and psychedelic sounds that will transport you in a long and hypnotic journey.
