Assimilated is a DJ/producer from Tel aviv, Israel. Influenced by the most hypnotic and abstract sounds of Deep Techno and Psychedelic Trance, he started to develop his producer side in 2017.

He defines his style by long and reverberating pads, enveloping textures, minimal percussion and psychedelic sounds, combining saturated timbres, deep sound and atmospheric landscapes.

This mix features tracks by Kaspiann, Foreign Material, Luigi Tozzi, Petit Astronaute, Assimilated, Joachim Spieth, Vanta, Translate, The Alchemical Theory, and more.

Bio:
Producer, live performer and DJ from Białystok, Poland. His music is based on deep techno and ambient, which together with experimental sounds create a hypnotizing whole. In the creative process, he uses synthesizers with the addition of modular synthesis, field recordings and computer software. His sets are known for precise mixing and seamless transitions that keep listeners immersed in the story he creates. In April 2024, he released a 20-track album titled “Charbon” via Subsist Records.
Closely related to the Bialystok's music scene, especially the iconic FOMO club community. He performs not only during techno-focused events, but also at art exhibitions and other interdisciplinary events, where he plays ambient and experimental music. Mateusz is also deeply devoted to the music festivals, where years ago he became interested in electronic music and now he is actively participating in them as a volunteer and artist.

It’s certainly no easy act juggling such a diverse range of musical projects, but Blazej Malinowski seems to carry it all off quite effortlessly. Aside from running his own ‘Why So Silent’ live performance venture and co-founding renowned events and radio collective ‘Funfte Strasse’, the Berlin-based artist is also a viciously sharp producer and DJ.

With releases on Semantica, The Gods Planet, and Phorma he showcases a sound that leans into the cinematic, moody verge of techno. This immersive approach has been carried through into his event series and solo performances. Switching between both live PA’s and DJ sets on his bookings, Blazej is an artist with depth and a fearlessness.

He has taken the time to record this exclusive mix for our DETECT series.

The 20th vurt podcast comes with a 62 minute set of Mod21, an electronic music/deep techno/experimental sound artist from Italy.
Mod21, which appeared in 2014 with the announcement of Ben's Wolves EP at the legendary deep label Prologue in Munich, Germany, has continued to work on representative labels of modern deep techno such as Semantica, Mental Modern, Edit Select Records, and his own imprint Mod21 which began in 2017. 
Mod21's music, created through analog-style sound design and unique rhythmic structure that experiments with various possibilities of techno, unfolds in a dark, slippery that seem to be born in the bowels of a parallel world to ours.
