REFRAKT's new EP is coming as a Christmas present! Ian Daly is a producer and DJ based in New York City. His last EP release, False Memories (Phisica) charted in Beatport's top 10 Indie Dance. He has worked with Alejandro Molinari, Badwolf, and Nico Raibak and has played in clubs and festivals around the world.
Nico Raibak, DJ and producer from Mexico City, a prominent figure in the electronic music scene since 2012 till today. His presence in the electronic movement has solidified through his productions and remixes, releasing on labels such as NEIN (Berlin/UK), The Disco Express (London), Controlla (Mx) and Phisica (Mx). On a national level, his work has resonated on platforms like Warp, Reactor, and Radio Ibero. Nico Raibak's musical versatility is evident in his dj sets, which have captivated audiences in the most significant clubs and festivals across the national circuit.
REFRAKT layers sounds and melodies into a hypnotic mixture of dark disco, melodic techno, and world beats, transporting the listener through modulations and feedback loops.
Born in Flint, Michigan—the heart of industry in the United States—Daly grew up in a musical family with the Detroit house scene as a backdrop. A classically-trained pianist, drummer, and guitarist, Daly pulls from this broad musical vocabulary to bring melodic hooks, interlocking rhythms, and complex textures to his tracks. Daly also spent more than a decade as a journalist with publications such as Details, Esquire, Wired, and The New York Times. His reporting has taken him from the Arctic Circle to the mountains in Uganda, from the Mayan cenotes to equatorial glaciers to data vaults hidden deep in the Alps. His music bears the influence of his travels and exposure to unique musical styles and instruments, including Brazilian and African music, Persian classical music, Indian ragas, and the Balinese gamelan (which Daly has performed in).
REFRAKT has performed in Los Angeles, New York City, Tulum, and Berlin, as well as at Life Is Beautiful in Las Vegas and Untold and Neversea festivals.

REFRAKT is a producer and DJ based in New York City. His last EP release, False Memories (Phisica) charted in Beatport's top 10 Indie Dance and featured remixes by #1 Indie Dance artist BadWolf and Berlin-based producer Alejandro Molinari. He has performed all over the world, including Untold and Neversea festivals, where he opened for the likes of Sébastien Léger, Damian Lazarus, Armen Miran, and Hraach on the Daydreaming Stage, as well as Colours of Love in Thailand (with Valentín Huedo), numerous clubs in Berlin, including Georgia Bar, and Neue Odessa, and New York City, where he has played the main stage at House of Yes and has begun a residency. An accomplished live musician (piano, drums, guitar), Daly likes to explore diverse sonic textures from around the world in his productions and is always exploring new place to take his music. His latest release, Hidden Temple, is available on all platforms via Emerald & Doreen Music.
