I wrote this track last autumn after I stayed with some family and friends in a giant house next to a windmill in Norfolk. We played this game where we all go and hide and if you get caught the finder hides with you. I recorded the whole game on my zoom and kinda got inspired to write this from it.

P.S the project file corrupted so I had one audio file to finish off the mix so sorry if it sounds a bit off :)

An 18 track sonic saga compiled of works from various artists ranging from veteran IDM producers such as Boxcutter, The Flashbulb and Mr. Bill to fresh up-and-coming talents like Blanketdragon, Jonah Hodges, Cloud Cluster (and many more).

The goal of this compilation is to revive the “fallen angel” that is IDM, a genre that inspired so many of us artists to get into the electronic music production game in the first place!

Glad to be a part of this compilation, thank you @antent for having me. This song is fully dedicated to one of my major inspirations @false-noise and also the movie "Annihilation" I have watched recently. "The Shimmer" may be considered as my first attempt to film scoring as I was rewatching the lighthouse scene at the end of the movie over and over again to seed a new idea of how that part might have sounded like.
