Without an end there is no beginning and without an beginning there is no end. So 2013 comes to his end and i share with you a "NewYears Special" which includes 2 wonderful Sets from friends of mine and lovely people. So Part 1 stands for the end of 2013 and Part 2 stands for the beginning of 2014. - I hope you had a wonderful year 2013, with a lot of different and beautiful Podcast-Sounds ;) and i hope we sail in 2014 again across the seven oceans and listen together to all the great sounds. Lo is a DJ producer settled at Perpignan (France), with a various musical background.

He starts in the 80s as a jazz bass player and discovers electronic music in 1989 (with Kevin Sauderson and the beginnings of house music).Fascinated by Dub music, his musical influences vary from Moritz Von Oswald and Mark Ernestus’s Berlin dub (Maurizio, Basic Channel...) and Richie Hawtin or Ricardo Villalobos’s minimal techno.During few years, he was on Reunion Island and was one of the activists of the electronic music scene, he organised with his friend C-Bullon(N.E.M.O/Brussels) the Clandestines Nights, famous for being the most musically creative and bringing together the most technical artists in Réunion Island underground electronic music scene.This place of freedom enable him to express himself musically speaking, whether with a live or a DJ set and to share with his crowd his taste for technical, deep electronic music, mixing dub techno and minimal house, without any concessions to the mainstreams.

In 2011, he founded “Clandestine Plein Sud”, sister of Clandestine Réunion, to continue to promote this idea of underground parties in the south of France. He join Diprogress Collective, multidisciplinary gathering of artists very active and creative in the region and more widely because it radiates beyond the Spanish border.

Since Sept 2011, he work as resident DJ with Le Rachdingue (Spain).

Soul Button - Inner Symphony #001

DJ, producer, remixer and promoter from Warsaw with over ten years of experience. Over the years he shared decks with a big guns of music industry like Danny Howells, Nic Fanciulli, Guy Gerber, Oxia, James Zabiela, Robert Dietz, Noir, Nick Curly, Mario Basanov & Vidis, Nick Warren or Pete Tong to name a few. 
At first he started to release his own productions under Simon.S alias. His debut remix was released together with The Buick Project (Nic Fanciulli & Andy Chaterley) on a British imprint SIC Recordings back in 2007. From that moment he appeared on labels such as Big & Dirty, Starlight Music, Uberbeat or Sandy Rivera’s Blackwiz Records. 
The beginning of 2011 brings a new music ideas as well as a new artist name. Simon starts to perform and produce under Simon Mattson umbrella working his way up towards new releases. Consequent and persistent in what he does best his music gets bigger attention followed now by releases on respected labels including legendary Strictly Rhythm, Defected Records, Rebirth, Lo:Rise (Defected sublabel), Cubsim, Beef Records or Agoria’s InFine Music with a remix for well known dj & producer Oxia. Alongside all releases his tracks got included many great compilations like Defected In The House Brazil '11, Pacha Ibiza Southamerican Sessions, Space Ibiza Closing Fiesta, Island Balearic Sundown Sessions, Defected presents Most Rated Ibiza 2012 or Bargrooves Deeper 2.0 gaining him more reputation within his field. With huge support from many known artists including Mendo, Gorge, Oxia, Djuma Soundsystem or Sandy Rivera, tracks regularly charted and his last remix of Oxia still being in Top5 Bestsellers of Agoria’s InFine Music label after more than a year from the release Simon Mattson has definitely got attention from music industry.

In our hedonic pocket of Dance Music, Ali X is an artist that needs no introduction. But for those not in the know, he is part of the vital and vivacious Azari & III; the inimitable group that smacked the scene round its face with tunes like 'Hungry For The Power', 'Manic' and 'Reckless (With Your Love)' in the 2010s.

Having moved from Toronto where the group were based, 
Ali X is now embedded in the hot and heavy milieu of Mexican club culture where he has found the perfect home for his particular strain of brazen, sauce-laden House and Techno.

With 'Mi Dios Mi Amor' he lays out some pacy heat, deliciously adorned with the salacious lyrics of Mexican artist MAFARA. Together, the duo braid flawlessly and the result is a sweat-dripping slice of Techmex.

For many years Re:Fresh Your Mind (R|Y|M) has been a pillar of subcultural development in the Rhine-Main area and on a national level mainly focusing on event organization. Though the events have expended lately not only in Frankfurt but also on a national level due to its musical diversity and generally speaking because of its openness towards changes in the scene.  Understandably Re:Fresh Your Mind is conceived as a platform for a subcultural exchange between artists and music lovers initiated by SKAI and his Re:Fresh family, which include a few well respected DJs. With the label-launch of R|Y|M Records earlier this year Re:Fresh Your Mind-basis enhanced its reputation in the scene and takes another step in its development. Therefore, Frankfurt based SKAI teamed up with Gorge, who is well respected for his solo-productions and of course his works with Nick Curly. You never know what to expect next, but be sure it won't be anything you can be certain about when talking about R|Y|M - Re:Fresh Your Mind.
