▌I Welcher Track ist für dich ganz besonders in deinem Set?
Schwierige Frage, weil ich wirklich jeden einzelnen Track richtig gern mag, alle sind irgendwie besonders für mich in dem Set und haben ihren wohlverdienten Platz in dem Set. Aber ich würden wohl Evolutionary Ritual von Mayro wählen - ich liebe den Track weil er von so interessanten Sounds gespickt ist und so einen spacey Vibe hat, schön treibend ist und gleichzeitig so subtil daherkommt.

▌II Hattest du einen Mentor / eine Mentorin?
Ja! Christian Hülshoff war sozusagen mein Mentor und hat mir den Weg zum Auflegen gezeigt und geebnet :).

▌III Kannst du eine positive Entwicklung durch die Pandemie beobachten?
Im Zuge der Pandemie haben auch unbekannte Künstler*innen wie ich vermehrt die Chance bekommen zu zeigen was sie können. Vor der Pandemie, so nehme ich es wahr, haben es neue Gesichter kaum auf die Line-Ups geschafft. Schön, dass das nun anders ist :)

It was a lot of fun recording this set with 90% of unknown music for me as I was asked to prepare some more latin sounds up front. It turned out to be perfect for these summer days. With the label-launch of R|Y|M Records earlier this year Re:Fresh Your Mind-basis enhanced its reputation in the scene and takes another step in its development. Therefore, Frankfurt based SKAI teamed up with Gorge, who is well respected for his solo-productions and of course his works with Nick Curly.
