Refuge music was born on the summer of 2011 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.  Our mission has been to provide cutting edge underground house and techno music to our city. To inspire our friends and community with a vibe created by cutting edge sound and passionate artists both local and international. 
Over the past 3 years we defied the odds and created our own warehouse space - The transient . An after hours venue with the purpose of providing a platform for visual artists, performers and DJs to excel and  push the boundaries of their art.  No gimmicks. 
This release celebrates our time at the space . The hard work from our community, the unforgettable nights, the challenges we overcame and all the patrons from different walks of life who put their differences a side and helped create a vibe that none of us could’ve ever imagined.
