Artistic sound nuances and transitions, all against a backdrop of sampled, floating and repeating vocals, like flowing clouds, creating a feeling of freedom, comfort and diversity of imagination.  This is a benchmark Balearic track for both relaxation and the island's vibrant nightlife. I would be delighted to know the name of the artist and the title of the track! Is that possible, please?

Wow, I heard this track just recently on Cala Comte beach, at Sunset Ashram. There's something unexpected, diverse and fresh about it, like a Balearic breeze. What's it called?

It would be unforgivable not to label this episode at 44:33 as magical! It is similar to the same deep attraction as Es Vedra, which is the third most powerful point of attraction on Earth and the keeper of the secrets of the Greys! I am delighted with this narrative mix!

This Smoke mix is by no one other then Jeffrey Sfire an household name in the elecontronic music- and queerscene. Originally from suburban Detroit. Behind and in front of the scene pushing sounds and providing platforms. 

As a producer he had a lot of projects: Sfire (with SOPHIE), Looky Looky, and Pushing Movies with releases on labels such as Dark Entries, Cocktail D’Amore Music and Ultramajic. 

With this Smoke mix Jeffrey evokes a timeless contrast between melancholy, heartache, loving and hopeful at the same time. It might be the balance of life or it suits the feeling of the nearing end of summer which is just as finitely as good and bad times.

JD Twich is one half of Optimo, the legendary Glasgow party and a label. Some time ago he launched a new imprint called Against Fascism Trax, attempt to “provoke dialogue that is fundamentally anti-racist, anti-sexist, non-homophobic, non transphobic, non-ageist and non-ableist”. This podcast is a two-hour segment of this set at Hotel Forum's Kitchen from Unsound 2019. Before the performance, JD Twitch said of his Unsound set: “This will be the first ever presentation of an Against Fascism Trax DJ set, an experiment in whether music can convey an intent non verbally.” Starting the set and threaded throughout is the Italian protest song "Bella ciao", which originated in the late 19th century as a working-class anthem and was adopted as a hymn of the anti-fascist resistance in the 1940s. The song takes on new meaning in the current pandemic, as the need for new forms of solidarity — with health workers, cleaners and sanitation workers, impoverished people and all manner of vulnerable populations — becomes urgently clear.
