Memories are a reminder of who we were and who had we aimed to be. Most people don't know this, but I started off as a trance DJ. Trance was my first taste of the world of electronic music and I've been an avid listener since high school. So... when I was able to actually perform the music I loved so much for the first time, I wanted to create a special journey -- this mix is that journey. 

It's a live recording of a set I performed for Trance Family ATX back in 2013 and it still holds a special place in my collection. I hope you enjoy.

"Memories" is a series of live recordings from sets I performed between 2011 and 2014. Each mix has a special meaning for me as well a reminder of where I've from since that time.

Episode nine has been one of my favorite ones to work on in a long time. I wanted to start with an eerie almost haunting progressive house build up, which shifts into a unique blend of experimental electronic music that has recently been on repeat for me. This is definitely a mix for the night owls, but grab some good bass-heavy headphones and enjoy the journey.

“The Move” was born out of my need to escape the constraints of genre, commercialization, and expectation around something I truly love - Electronic Music. The name came from the fact that I moved from Austin, TX to San Francisco, CA .. a physical manifestation of embracing a different side of myself. The Art of DJing has many different elements but the ability to take seemingly conflicting, dissonant sounds and creating a journey and atmosphere capable of bringing out the best in any song. These mixes are my art. Each one is recorded as a live set with me playing them in one go on my CDJs, which is crucial for me to add my personal touch to each transition. They are introspective, dark, and progressive with every mix telling its own story about what’s I'm listening to at that given moment.
