Welcome to ‘The iFoundation’ Scotland & Ireland’s Powerful groove driven authentic all star ‘Lover’s Rock’ Reggae Group.
'The Foundation’ are Scotland's most respected live festival and quality venue group built with the inclusion of the country’s biggest reggae artists and producers. Bursting with bass driven harmonic melodies defined 80’s synth overtones and instinctively performed brass melodies within interactive anthems to woo the audiences. The group have a defined history of famous supports and headline shows like the Nottinghill Carnival, The Wickerman Festival, The Red Sails Festival Ireland, Sea Sessions Ireland, Eden Festival, Knockengorroch Festival, The Arches, O2 Academy, Ronnie Scott's London and all best loved Live Events throughout the circuit.

The name relates to the authentic reggae sound of the pathfinders of reggae including Gregory Isaacs & Denis Brown who crooned and grooved their way into the hearts of the crossover audience due to the sheer musical class and melodic dance feel of their music style. Lover’s rock is a style of reggae music noted for its romantic sound and content. While love songs had been an important part of reggae since the late 1960s, the style was given a greater focus and a name in London in the mid 1970s and was commercially realised as the biggest impact for creating hits and popularity.

A long history of great shows and media appearances makes 'The Foundation’ one of the best loved and respected new music groups on the UK festival circuit representing Scotland's professional popular R&B- Dance Reggae lover’s rock community. Working with the likes of Jackie Mittoo, Easy All Stars, Sly & Robbie and sharing stages with icons such as The Human League, The Zutons, Steel pulse and bad manners etc have built a strong fan base which supports the group's passion for live performance and showmanship through some of the toughest years economically for the music industry. It's all about the music and giving the fans a musical feast on such a professional live platform is rare at this level. Last year saw the group signed to Irish record label Krafted Rhythm records; with a strong European tour for 2012 the group are becoming the icons of Scotland's live music facade. The album was awarded 'Artists Of The Year' from The American songwriters forum 'Songramp' which was unusual accolade in that a Scottish band were chosen from hundreds of very talented American writers.
