This is a song about the 2021 Cicada Brood X.  I've learned so much about them, that I was compelled to write a song about them.  They don't come above ground to ravage crops, bite or attack people, or do anything sinister.  They merely emerge to love one another, create their future, and die.  I've come to admire the cicada, and wish them well.
