Really enjoyed playing this set at CRKD, Essex. A mixture of hynoptic, bloopy techno and fast percussive beats. With a few vocals thrown in too for extra measure. 

Its a bit rough round the edges but super energetic and fun. It was great to get the chance to play music that I really enjoy but rarely get the opportunity to play.

I absolutely love techno but wouldn't really I class myself as a "Techno DJ". However I often spend times at techno parties as I'm lucky to be friends with some amazing techno artists. 

Id been building quite a collection of wicked tracks that hadn't seen light of day and really enjoyed getting them out for this one !

After his debut L.P. on Circus Company last year, South African-born producer, Portable is set to unleash another yet another for the French label tomorrow. Both equalling ten tracks each, the latter titled, Augmented Dreams explores the various, corners of sparse and minimal, electronic music. Including a few that don't shy away from the warmth of human vocals. "Begin Again" being the primary example here which we have the premiere for.

"Last February, Maxime Dangles released the album "Les Délivrés” acclaimed by Tsugi, Radio Nova and Laurent Garnier. Soundtrack of the eponymous documentary retracing the daily life of gig delivery drivers and offering a sensitive and raw look at a reality that is still too often ignored. While autumn is coming, a compilation of remixes by Blutch, DNGLS, Pavane, Penelope Antena, as well as more dancefloor oriented auto-remixes realized for his Live at Astropolis and broadcasted on France Inter.

Maxime Dangles entered the electronic music scene 15 years ago on the Kompakt label, collecting prestigious remixes (Moby, Green Velvet, Simian Mobile Disco, Kittin & The Hacker...). Reference of the international electronic scene, he’s renowned for his immersive and singular sound design that he shapes with his modular synths. But for the last 4 years, Maxime Dangles has slowed down his club dates to devote himself to this type of creation, to the spatialization of sound, in places such as the SAT in Montreal and to the SONARS arts and sciences project alongside researchers from the CNRS, who took him on board at the heart of their research on the islands of Saint-Pierre and Micquelon.
