It's finally here - ten incredible years of quality techno. What a remarkable journey it has been since the 'Birth' of Throne Room Records in 2015. From vibrant label raves in Amsterdam to eclectic showcases in the breathtaking French Alps, we've experienced a flourishing period of success. Along the way, we've witnessed our talented artists develop and evolve into sought-after touring DJs.

The imprint has proudly hosted renowned names such as D-Unity, Kolter, David Bau, Belocca, and Devid Dega, among others. Throne Room Records has served as a launching pad for many DJs and artists, contributing to their respective successes.

To celebrate this milestone, we are thrilled to present a ten-track compilation featuring various artists that embodies everything Throne Room stands for. This collection showcases a diverse range of sounds, from minimal to mainroom, and we truly believe it is our best work yet. Enter a sanctuary of sound and stone, a brutalist crypt where a silent sermon is eternally preached. 🏛️ Before a colossal wall of monolithic spools, a lone Keeper stands guard. Draped in a heavy, dark cloak, its form is absolute, its face a shadowed void beneath a deep hood, signifying a loss of self, a complete surrender to its purpose. This is not a person, but a function—a living conduit for the immense power contained within the wall. It is the guardian of the hall, the keeper of the resonance. The chamber is stark, built from rough, weathered concrete, its floor a bed of dirt and rubble, pitted with dark, circular maws that lead to an unknown emptiness below. The ceiling weeps with thin, dark lines, mirroring the pits on the floor. The "Wall of Sound" is not just a backdrop; it is a deity, a formidable altar of potential energy, with each circular spool a silent, unblinking eye. The Keeper stands in solemn stillness, a figure of monastic dread and profound purpose, awaiting the moment the crypt will speak.

This is the sonic invocation of that sacred, industrial space. 🔊 A journey into the depths of dark, atmospheric, and industrial techno. Each track is a vibration from the Wall of Sound, a pulse from the heart of the crypt, channeled through the Keeper. The kick drum is a physical force, a monolithic weight that strikes you in the chest, echoing the brutalist architecture. The bass is a deep, subterranean hum, the resonant frequency of the chamber itself, a vibration that shakes the very foundation of your perception. The soundscape is vast and cavernous, filled with the echoes of cold concrete and the imagined crackle of dormant amplification. Ghostly textures and somber, repetitive motifs create a ritualistic atmosphere, a soundscape for a deep, introspective state. This is not music for the body, but for the soul's descent into the resonant void. Let the sound wash over you, let the sheer weight of it ground you, and stand with the Keeper before the altar of sound. 🙏💀

It's time for your next treatment. The latest strange therapy session, led by Tomohiko Sagae, guarantees to break through your blood-brain barrier immediately after entering your ears. His Deba Bōchō EP is a brain damaging mind cracker, packed with five tremendous tracks. 

DB#1 kicks off the session with pulverizing power. Beams of nerve wrecking noise crash into you. Grinding and screeching, slowly flowing up and down, this one clears your head of every last bit of clarity and sanity. DB#2 marches onwards with mechanical mayhem. The steam-powered mechanism propels itself with distortion. Get rolled over and beaten down by a gabber'esque flurry of punching and pounding, crushing all matter it comes across.  Operant re-mixed DB#2 into an evenly intriguing piece. The steam makes place for electricity. Twisted vocals like ghosts stuck in the circuitry peek above the static-drenched, rhythmic layers. It keeps on kicking, surging with low-end energy.

DB#3 hits harder than the heaviest machinery. A distortion-tipped drill digs deeper and deeper, eradicating everything in its path. Metallic hammering and system shattering sounds lay bare the core of crude craftsmanship. Stave's remix of DB#3 works like a tension building sharp-shooter. Stripped down of excess energy, it stutters onward, grabbing you tight in bursts of beats like a Gatling gun.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere the new single by Trace Amount ft. Body Stuff. The Brooklyn-based experimental industrial artist Brandon Gallagher aka Trace Amount, releases “Concrete Catacomb”, a brvtal industrial work with wicked vocals in collaboration with the duo Body Stuff. “Concrete Catacomb” was written during “Endless Render” session, but was later saved for collaboration by having both members of Body Stuff - Curran Reynolds and Ryan Jones perform on it. 

"Concrete Catacomb” is a bit of a 'fuck you' anthem to all of the people who left New York, complained about how it lost it's charm or just wasn't the same since the pandemic - or even more ignorantly because of the protests. This track is intense but at the same time it's meant to celebrate all of the things that make this place great, and real ones know that. Curran (Body Stuff) is one of my longest friends / connections from New York, so to have him on the track means a lot to me." - Brandon Gallagher, Trace Amount
