Carved every doubt out, rewrote the curses.
They want vibes, I give 'em scars with beats,
That hit like flashbacks under bedsheets.

I ain’t performin’  I’m unloadin’ a file,
Every word encrypted with a childhood trial.
They told me rhyme schemes sell better with bling,
So I brought nightmares dressed in sixteens.
I don’t flex chains  I flex coping mechanics,
Poured my grief in a flask and turned pain panoramic.
They thought I needed therapy  maybe I do,
But these beats let me scream where the silence grew.
I don't dance on stage  I shake with control,
Every punchline's buried in a trauma I stole.

I’m not broken  I’m blueprintin’ the wreck,
Every failed dream’s a brick in my neck.

That maybe one verse’ll keep my pulse on beat.

There’s no magic in this, just muscle and mind,
Just a kid who learned rage makes a hell of a rhyme.
I never wrote spells  I wrote what I feared,
Till my verses became the map I steered.

We been at this for a hot minute, we are not bound by genre, but we are first and foremost a hip hop collective that might be changing our name/branding/wardrobe in the near future.

2025-08-28: HOLLOW LAKE is up on iTunes, Spotify, and a bunch of other platforms we had no idea about! We are now pushing HUXLEY, REMY, ENOUGH and RUN because... well this is exciting for us.

Beowulf is going to sit here but we're gonna flesh that out - an upcoming EP of similar tracks, wholly original, hip hop, homages to our favorite works of fiction, so naturally PD is off pondering King's magnum opus the Dark Tower. Watch this space.

Oh and I've seen how much interest the horns for petra has gotten (thanks again for your feedback, Petra) so I've started working on a cover of the Schitt's Creek theme song, despite threats of reprisal from RSR mates with bad taste - I'm gonna make them watch a few episodes and I'm sure they'll come around.
