Kicking off the IMPAVID project with Zelda's Awakening, this is gonna be fun.

I was only six, when my training began,
mystic studies and battleplans.
I must receive the goddesses amnesty,
Gannon is coming and with him calamity.

A decade of study, every day and night
I must save my people from this plight,
because there's magic in me.
Father says there's magic in me.

And then some quiet guy appears,
like out of thin air.
He's the chosen one now.
The answer to all their prayers.
The sleeping sword just woke up and chose him,
but nobody knows him.
Why is he called Link,
when he's not connected to anyone?

Now this silent fool just follows me about,
a walking reminder of my self-doubt.
What does he want and why is he so subdued?
How could one person eat so much food?
I try and I fail and I admit,
that there's no magic in me, not a whit.
I lose my shit, tell him we should quit.
So he smiles and decides to just rest for a bit.

He's my guard when i pray,
my sentry when I lay,
closest thing to a friend and I treat him with dismay.
Mother if you were here, you'd know what to say,
maybe father would stop pushing me away.

I don't deserve this burden,

A moblin had appeared, and I just froze!

No he grins and grits his teeth at me,
and fades away so peacefully...
