The 75th EP on Moon Harbour is one that connects the past with the present: the release is made up of three remixes and re-edits of classic tracks by label boss Matthias Tanzmann. Charged with serving up these goods are one third of Apollonia, namely Frenchman Shonky, Saved Records boss Nic Fanciulli and his brother Mark and, finally, Matthias himself updates one of his own cuts. Proving that Moon Harbour have evolved on their own terms whilst always staying true to their roots, this EP is yet another modern tech house masterclass.

Tronic’s next release is featuring label head’s Christian Smith’s second remix pack. The duties to remix “Mutate” are upon the groovy Kaiserdisco boys which have manage to create a funky version of the track, it will keep you moving. Sub bass, stomping drums and leading arpeggiated synth lines. The great Dosem is at it on the second remix. “Who You Are” is a banging, rolling, dance-heavy track with an 80’s synth long the way, pure excellence. The third piece of the EP is a rework of Christian’s track “Motor” from Dave Angel, this is the bass leading – 6 a.m monster piece of the pack, ace melodies, big synths and a sense of placidity.

Ripples of Light - Minimal Deep Tech Instrumental DJ

We love a good duo here at DT. Batman and Robin, Torvill and Dean, Tango and Cash; we could go on all day. Thus, it gives us great pleasure to welcome in another double act of serious distinction as Luna City Express serve up the lead cut of their new EP for 20/20 Vision as our latest Debut Transmission.

The four track (and curiously titled) 'Smokin' Bull' EP offers a selection of dancefloor killers, but pick of the bunch for us here at Data Transmission has to be the title-track. With a loose, hip swinging bass line coupled with warm and powerful synth stabs and a memorable Rhodes piano solo, 'Smokin' Bull' will have feet shuffling and hands raised for the duration.

Set to arrive November 16th, we're hopeful we'll be hearing lots more from Norman Weber and Marco Resmann under their collaborative moniker in the new year with this EP sure to pick up plenty of play in the meantime.

German production duo delivers two killer new tracks for a great Hottrax double-header. Nonstop Nonsense is a massive barnstormer of a track, that’s been massive for Jamie Jones; it’s a bit of a beast! Dat Cream is a refreshing bass driven rib rattler of a track grabbing you by the scruff of the neck and shaking you senseless.

Joining forces to create a formidable duo are best friends Matze and Johannes. After bonding over a mutual love for hip-hop, breakdance and skateboarding they soon started to produce music together. Having previously released on Defected, Snatch!, Gruuv and OFF Recordings among others, this release is their debut on the grittier Hot Trax imprint.

After a strong Truesoul debut last September, Oscar L returns with a triple dose of groove. 

We got our first taste of Oscar L’s talents when he dropped the excellent ‘Konfusion’ EP in late summer 2018, a triple threat of ‘90s inspired house, punchy peak-time tech funk and the Spaniard’s skillful drum work highlighted throughout. As the weather starts to turn in our favour, it’s time to welcome him back to the clan for round two with his ‘Multiplayer’ EP.

The work kicks things off with ‘Monster Tube’, a deep roller that sees chunky percussion rub shoulders with dizzying arpeggiated melody lines. The EP’s title track follows, a cheeky vocal sample bringing verge and energy to the groovy bed of drums that sit beneath. ‘Primewire’ rounds out the triumvirate of tracks, working superbly as a functional and energetic DJ tool.

Istanbul born and Great Stuff newcomer Ugur Project showcases his characteristic deep, driving, techno infused house grooves and prime time vibes on his newest release "Keep On Dancing".
