Ode to the West Seattle Bridge

The sounds of Vashon Island, Washington. The texture of the Pacific Northwest is dense; multiple layers of fibers woven together through generations. Whether discussing the people or the landscape this dense texture plays a role. As a reflection of society, the music of the Northwest carries a similar texture - eg., Grunge. In particular, Vashon's musical artists have a unique flavor of their own, a texture woven from a life remote, accessible only by boat. These are the sounds of the island's many talented artists.
