On July 1st, i was invited to play a Jungle/drum & bass set for Beatport in the Wave XR's Metaverse. This was one of the biggest deals of my DJ life. Being asked by the legendary BBC Radio 1, to show off your best mixing to the Drum & bass world, is every Junglist's dream. I like to think of myself as musical storyteller,  and this may be one of my finest-told stories to date. We're in such an crazy world-time-place right now, and I feel like I was able to time-capsule all this insanity,  plus a healthy dose of personal narrative, into one realllllly short set. At first I tried to channel my inner Doc Scott/Andy C/ Alix Perez but then I said FUCK IT JUST CHANNEL YOU.

2020 certainly has been a test for us all. An overwhelming amount of negativity from every conceivable direction has left us spent. The shining beacon of joy for many of us, music, dancing and spiritual communion, has been stripped from us and we've watched our thriving industry collapse. I don't have the answers, i don't know where it's all going. What i DO know, is that the power of music still holds me and keeps me (somewhat) sane in these dark times. It is my lifeboat. And so i present to you, a teeny tiny life preserver that, if you let it, will spark joy and help keep your emotions afloat. This is my new mix series, NO SPEED LIMIT.
