Today was special.... Jörg not only came for a visit but brought this amazing loose Jazz Groove with him. At first we probably bored his son to tears...but hey, this little tune evolved into the sort of antiJazz, spaced out, groovadelic thing you hearing right now. No sequencer on this one...i tried, man, i tried really hard...but this is much better!

Don't Stutter, Scream!

This one is a special track..Pow R. Toc H. were joined by Mani on guitar, who added a loose but beautiful guitar line to this track...He made this little bird literally fly. It was a long night...we all met at my house and finished recording at around 3:30 am. We had a lot of fun, though poor Joerg hit his head and suffered from a bit of a major headache (he is better again!). Please enjoy the result of this pleasant night with Mani on guitar, me on bass, organ , synthesizer and screwdriver, Jörg on drums and hopefully recovered from his headache! Peace, Reinhard 

Pow R. Toc H. - Dance At Night - featuring Mani on Guitar!

This, Ladies and Gentlemen is my personal requiem, done in a sort of New Orleans Funeral march type of vibe. A requiem for a holiday that has come to its way too early end! A requiem for a journey that is over for now! Being reminded of the tenth anniversary of Katrina devastating probably the most musical City in the U.S., i kind of set this tune in a New Orleans Type of atmosphere, at least my version of it! You can hear our little cat scream in the background, since the microphone used for the HAPI picked that up. Rest assured, that neither cat nor drum were hurt in the making of this recording.
Forgive me for having taken this long for a new piece finally.

When We Go Down With Bells, Whistles And Screaming Cats

This is, after quite some time, well it kind of feels like a long time anyway, another Modular piece for you guys.... I started with the patch at around 4 am on Sunday morning and had the same recorded at around 4 pm the same day! It starts of with the Feedback of the Spring Reverb being triggered by a strange little Sequencer before other more percussive noises set in, and then the fun starts with a bass riff from the Pro2....Enjoy! Last night we got into an argument over which Version of this new tune to use! We were both tired and the argument was admittedly a heated one....which is stupid for a piece of music, you think? Really? Actually Music is far to important for this sort of argument!

Being immobilized with a broken shoulder brings out the best and worst in me. During the last weeks i worked on these tracks to keep busy enough to avoid sinking to deep into pitying myself for my screwed up arm. I am better now, found the time to edit what i got..
