A Master of hypnotic rhythms and stupid samples, Captain Détendu expresses here his deep love of Hawaiian music, wha wha guitars and bongoes. Tthe 'granpa' voice you'll hear all along this track comes from the cult 1960s recording 'Le Disque Qui Guérit', a.k.a. 'The Record That Heals', by French fakir Yvon Yva.

'Détendu' is a French word for cool, relaxed, easygoing… So is this electro-downtempo or funky-exotica lounge? Nope, this is the ultimate 'Détendu' formula: peaceful music + out-of-step humour = absolute happiness!
