The Ulysses butterfly, or Papilio ulysses, is a large swallowtail butterfly native to Australia, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands. It is a common sight in the rainforests of Cairns, Queensland. The Ulysses butterfly is known for its striking blue and black wings, which can reach up to 14 cm in length. The males have a bright blue patch on their forewings, while the females have a more subdued blue color. The Ulysses butterfly is a fast and erratic flier, making it difficult to photograph. It is most active on sunny days, when it can be seen feeding on nectar from flowers. The Ulysses butterfly is an important pollinator of rainforest plants. It is also a popular tourist attraction, and many people visit Cairns specifically to see this beautiful butterfly.

Tírvia is my place in the world, the town I love, where I grew up, and where I feel at home. In this song, I wanted to reflect my feelings toward this wonderful place in the Catalan Pyrenees.

The piece now carries a cinematic, melancholic beauty. Each note unfolds with grace, inviting the listener on a peaceful and pastoral journey. With this release, we warmly welcome two new talents to the ad21 family: Anastasiya Ihnatovich, a neoclassical pianist from Minsk, Belarus, whose music speaks with honesty and emotion. Felipe Lima, a Brazilian composer focused on film, series, and visual storytelling, bringing deep sensitivity and atmosphere. Work in progress. I'm slowly progressing on my new album. This track started with an intense drone and bass-part, but so many verions later I think all of the original stems are left out, and replaced by these slightly distorted reverb guitar parts. Still some work to do on this one, but I like where it is going! 

Whereabouts

Another work in progress. All guitar, delay, reverb and a bit of looping going on. I'm not sure if I'll keep it this minimal, or go on and expand on this.
