Like many other people, Jurre Daalder started DJ’ing as a way to kill time during the global pandemic. When clubbing was still possible, he discovered his love for older techno music. Wanting to know more about the music from that time he started digging through ripped vinyl tracks on YouTube, which eventually led to him buying two turntables and some records.  When he mixes, he always goes for long blends and the perfect chemistry between two records. When he was recording this vinyl set he tried to keep it groovy, hypnotic and minimal, fitting for his image of the ANTIDOTE sound. In this mix you will find music from artists like: Damon Wild, Adam Beyer, Umek, Oliver Ho and many more.

'Bruecke Invites' is a vinyl only podcast series that will be uploaded every six weeks. With this series, Bruecke puts a spotlight on artists that practice the old school turntable craft.

Volume 1 of Planetary Assault Systems ʻDeep Heetʼ, released in March 2006, signaled the return of Planetary Assault Systems after a 5-year hiatus. The release of this second volume, exactly 5 years later to the day, marks the culmination of Slaterʼs Planetary Assault Systems tour that began in 2009 with the release of the ʻTemporary Suspensionʼ album on Berlin label Ostgut Ton.

Comprising three state-of-the-art expeditions into deep space techno, Deep Heet Vol. 2 takes techno back to its primitive roots, adding details inspired by yet-to- be-explored points in the galaxy; only visible from Slaterʼs Spacestation Ø UK studio. 
Sucktion opens the EP in glorious style. The basis being a powerfully hypnotic groove, the track evolves steadily, drawing the listener in completely before revealing its subtle, beautifully powerful, harmonic breakdown.

Mechanical and tense, Pow Wow combines the sonic dynamism of hollow reverberating rhythms with oscillating melodic loops which together create a tightly woven groove that ultimately implodes into a shrill explosion of frequencies.

Raid closes out the EP with its shimmering minimalism crafting a calm contrast to the rest of the EP. Pulsing melodies and echoing chimes attract the focus while a heavy flat kick and spurts of firing hats add the necessary dancefloor momentum.

SMPLR 02 - V/A - Previews

The collaboration between Andres Ávila (Binary Algorithms) and Raven Mazique (Zvrra) appeared to be predestined to yield exceptional music. Emerging from a production partnership deeply rooted upon their love for more avant-garde dance sounds, the 'Dissolved Cycles EP' introduces Furatena's first approach with Techno.

Inspired in part by contemporary warfare and RPG shooters, "Cycle A" sits, on top of a double kickdrum, a slow and dark-dub display with unique synthesized visions; A fuller club cut, "Cycle B" floats into spacious and – at times – acidic zones while groovy vocals and ominous pads guide the listener through a hypnotic sonic tunnel. The EP closes with the minimalist and densely frenetic "Cycle C," which features Raven and Andrés high-hand at designing such labyrinthine structures.

Tessen were folding fans with concealed outer spokes made of heavy iron plates. Some swordsmanship schools provided training of the tessen as a weapon. Besides using the razor-sharp spokes as an attacking tool, the tessen was also used as a throwing weapon, for fending off knives and darts and as a swimming aid. Samurai could also secretly take them to places where overt weapons were not allowed.
