For the uninitiated, Day Fly is the brainchild of Dutch producer K The Fresh and English singer/songwriter Beau Nox. Information about the pair is rather light at the moment, but who needs all of that anyways? 

We've got "Magnet" — the first offering from their upcoming EP — as ample evidence of their sonic whereabouts. This is soul lovingly linking arms with alternative hip-hop with a smidgen of sing-a-long pop shaken in; smooth over seriousness is the key. It's a trend that seeps through their debut project too, which although can't be shared is worth your ears. It seems like the whole thing was made with a larger-than-life grin extended across both of K and Beau's faces. Fans of The Internet and Phony Ppl, rejoice.

"Magnet' is out on October 9 via Tangram Records with the EP following up a few weeks later.

"Black Sunrise“ by Francesco Chiocci feat. Black Soda, was one of the highlights of our last edition of Livingroom Techno. When we heard the track for the frst time, we knew right away that it endears itself to remixers due to the haunting vocals by Black Soda from Cape Town.
The result is a full on family affair: Olderic, Lehar, Musumeci and Peter Pardeike have interpreted "Black Sunrise“ and although each of them has created his own trip, all of them are genuinely "The Sound of Connaisseur“.

Olderic’s version preaches the peak-time open-air moment with some proper pathos on top.

Lehar’s remix on the other hand takes the middle course between catchiness and abstract soundscapes, delivering a very unique interpretation.

Musumeci has created a deep house builder in the manner of Atjazz or Charles Webster, timeless to the bone.

And last but not least, Peter Pardeike declares his love to Afro-Beat with his version.
More summer simply isn’t possible!
