Excellent ethnic infused electroscape ... spiritual inspiration with great vocalizations

Such beautiful vocals. You have such control over your sound emotionally. 

Since “Particle Guitar” over a year ago, Steve and I have written and performed many new songs together.  And we’ve formed a new band called “Korima” which will soon release its debut EP: “Into Your World”.
 
Along the way, as Korima, we’ve created some short songs.  Not excerpts but, rather, complete pieces to be enjoyed briefly on their own - or as connectors exploring the relationships between songs.
We’d like to showcase some of them here.  This is the first one up: White Sail.  We hope you enjoy it!

White Sail

A new collab with my dear HyLGZ22.
Lyrics :
Arpeggio, stylish hairdo and silver witcher’s sword, you forego my toes, my modulation and white noise passion. Love my love and my void in my tiny palace of thousand rooms and coplanar sideral networks of my wiggling ears.
Ethereal sensations of shiny dragon’s leather and troll fur, in your bed and in you bath and in your milky dreams of oak and halberds.
I crave for the tinkling of ten thousands cybernetic bees buzzing around the pomegranate of my intricate emotions, tantalizing my tits, and releasing the endorphins that keep me alive in a solution of poisonous thoughts.
Your fizzling feet feed the psychopomps with the crumbs of your illusions. Like a Hierophant in love, I will synthetize the fragrance of your sweat, and drink the wine of your gaze, and kiss your boobs and your boots.
Sweating under your command, I swallow you imagination and the fluffy bouncing monsters of your polyphony play with my ears in an opera of mystical strawberries.
My glass boots tinkle on the bridge of our passion as we surpass the bondage of geometrical algebra in our creamy foreplays.
The neural network that decides which music we like, will explode under the purple blaze of our desires. Freed by Malenia’s Scarlet Rot, we shall seek new achievements for our misguided lives. In a romantic reckless move, we will go happily to a naked party at the sushi bar in Dagon Street.

The Twist of the Tale

When I first heard this I instantly picked up a  blusey mid eastern flavour to it and decided to pick up on that theme. I used Pauls track "Remember" in it's entirety with no edits to do some post production work around it, picking up on that eastern vibe I was getting !! I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did making it.

The Long Journey

"Take aim at his heart now!" he yelled. "And shoot for the head!" shouted back his armed colleague. But with tears in the formers' eyes, he knew he had already lost the fight. The longer he wore on in the battle with his foe, the greater his uncertainty. 
This song is about a mercenary remembering an encounter with a fellow mercenary. They were both after the same target and the first, unarmed mercenary was forced to kill his armed colleague with a car.
Listening to the story of the song, one may get the sense that betrayal and regret are central themes; however, they are only one of the many threads unfurled in the song. Violence and mercy are more central, especially within the mind's eye of the protagonist re-living what had occurred on one fateful day.
A violent mind may not breed mercy, but mercy will never hold a place (or a candle, if you will) in the minds of those whose idea of violence is not honourable and just -- in a moral sense, of course. Moral compasses change direction from person to person, from time to time, and from situation to situation. They can even, sometimes, point to one's own fate -- mercifully or not.
