A classically trained musician and long-time face of Soho's legendary Black Market Records, Hilit Kolet debuted on Defected with her jackin' tune 'Techno Disco', landing at #1 on Traxsource's House chart, #1 on Music Week's Upfront Club Chart and #3 on Shazam's Discovery chart.

Support for Hilit's 100% original house cut came in strong, with Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Sarah Story rinsing 'Techno Disco' on BBC Radio 1. Since then, her production work - including her latest original single ‘POV Siren’ (Faith) and her edit of Laurent Garnier’s 90s gem 'Crispy Bacon’, which is featured on the limited edition boxset of his new album, has garnered massive support with Carl Cox, Skream, Radio Slave, Tsha, Paul Woolford, Jamie Jones, Eliza Rose, Maya Jane Coles, Patrick Topping, Haai and Syreeta have all been getting behind her music, affirming Hilit Kolet as THE talent to watch.

After 20 years of incessant and persistent work-in clubs all over the world, Victor M- -has become one of Spain’s top DJs and producers -whose influences have been hip-hop, funk and the house, among other styles. Pushmann, delivers techno for the mind body and soul.

PUSHMANN produces a Detroitesque sound with clear and strong influence of European sound, Berlin and Birmingham. His imaginary sound is based on the fast-paced, industrial and mechanical high-octane techno. In his classic genre he delivers raw goodness to intrigue the listener and take him or her to a higher level. Power, darkness and fierceness serving the dance floor. His special attention and taste for metallic percussion and steel cavernous drums well located in front of everything, almost martia, or warlike. Also draw attention to their surgical and haunting melodies, looped and accelerated to paroxysm. Sophisticated bestiality that stuns and spreads like wildfire.

Matt Ryder, known as ODEE X and formerly producing as B.U.U.G is a rising artist having gained support the last two years from Laurent Garnier, Jamie Jones and Marco Faraone on such tracks as ‘Death by Stereo’ and ‘To The Brain’. 
Releases on Street Tracks and Nightmayors have also gained plays from BBC introducing on the breakbeat rave throwback ‘LOONZ’. 
Matt has now expanded his sound with his new project ODEE X which along with club-leaning cuts, will feature more House projects and contemporary Techno releases.

Any historian who takes it upon themselves to pen the tale of Canadian electronic in the years to come will most certainly find the name Mike Shannon figures early and often in it’s telling. From his humble beginnings in the sleepy suburban town of Kitchener Ontario, the last 15 years have seen him become an internationally lauded producer with albums on 3 of the industry’s most respected labels (Plus 8, Force Inc, ~Scape), as well as a steady stream of consistently charted singles and remixes.

A true “DJ’s DJ”, he has won legions of fans and the respect of his peers alike for his deep crates and lightning fast mixing skills.  And while some may suggest he has gravitated towards smoother, deeper selections as the years go by, those in the know will tell you he has few equals when it comes to whipping dance floors into a relentless techno frenzy should you catch him on a night with that mischievous twinkle in his eye.

Those fortunate enough to catch one of Mike’s rare live performances are encouraged to do so with an open mind, as it is in this context that the breadth of his creativity truly shines. From the shuffling house and techno of his solo performances to the narcotic jazz of his new Blue Fields project alongside singer Fadila and guitarist Takeshi Nishimoto, his is a musical vision which easily wriggles free of the usual genre signifiers and pays grand dividends to those with the good sense to get nice and close to the speakers; the devil is most certainly in the details as the old saying goes.

Yet beyond all of this, perhaps his greatest achievement has been his unfailing support of the music and people he loves. As head A&R and damn near everything else of Cynosure and formerly Revolver Canada Recordings (alongside Jeff Milligan) for over 10 years, Mike has shown an uncanny ability to select and release tracks which have become go-to fixtures in the sets of the industry’s best DJs, as well as introducing the world to the work of some of his nearest and dearest before anyone knew their names (Akufen, Deadbeat, Ernesto Ferrerya).  Far from pursuing the next one hit wonder or sound of the season, his steadfast curatorial vision and passion for the music have earned him the trust of discerning music connoisseurs the world over.

With an obsession for rhythm and groove, Melbourne born Producer and DJ William Kiss certainly has a foothold on the ever evolving sound that is Techno. 

With a decisive focus on percussive elements, rumbling baselines and main floor melodies, William aims to create music that simply turns heads. Stemming from a percussion based background, The complexities and the sometimes understated simplicities of Techno have always struck a chord with him, fascinated by the raw power and emotion that can be conveyed through such basic elements, and the ability for such records to remain “timeless”.

Drawing influence from all ends of the musical spectrum, William intends to stay rhythmically true to himself by constantly experimenting, evolving and never becoming too comfortable, all while maintaining the relentless passion and drive to create. With a slew of forthcoming releases both local and International, he’s certainly one to watch.
