Justin Harris arrives on REK’D with the ‘Check Your Chains’ EP 6th February 2026. Music For Freaks label co-founder and one half of Freaks alongside Luke Solomon, Harris has been active for over three decades. His ‘Check Your Chains’ EP on Radio Slave’s latest sublabel joins a massive discography spanning four albums and over a hundred EPs between Freaks and his solo work, on labels like Perlon, Visionquest, Classic, Crosstown Rebels, and many more, showing the wealth of experience at his command.

The ‘Check Your Chains’ EP sees Justin Harris delve deep: lush chords, paired-back grooves, delectable keys, and a certain funky, loopy hypnotism that’s modern and classy.

‘Who Needs Rescuing’ brings the Balearic sunshine, while ‘Jutzjazz’ feels right at home in a dim-lit speakeasy, before ‘DJs Should Be Heard And Not Seen’ reads like a statement on the scene, yet as a piece of music is first and foremost deeply felt - this is a four-tracker of pure House quality.

“For me, any release is an opportunity to present a snapshot of my creative pursuits, which now run to more than 30 years. The sole (and soul) reason I make music is for it to be heard and appreciated as far and wide as possible by like-minded people. Any track that I produce is a reflection of what’s going on around me in my world, same as any artist. Legendary Detroit House and Techno pioneer and Women on Wax founder, DJ Minx, drops her debut ‘Energy’ EP for Rekids 13th February 2026. She follows her 2025 appearance on the House of Rekids mix series, and at the label’s Panorama Bar showcase in Berlin, before closing the year remixing Radio Slave & Kameelah Waheed’s ‘All Rize’.

Known for championing women in the music industry, particularly Detroit DJs and producers, Minx recruits Florida-native, two-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Kendra Foster for a larger-than-life, jacking title cut. Robust drums, bright synth stabs, and Foster’s uplifting vocal bring the energy before Minx’s ‘You Can’ features an inspirational spoken word vocal, while low-slung rhythm and a deep, crawling bassline drive the track forward.

DJ Minx has been a central figure in Detroit’s musical history since the 90s. Recent highlights include her ‘Queendom’ EP on HE.SHE.THEY., a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, releases on Planet E and Rules Don’t Apply, collaborations with Kevin and Dantiez Saunderson as e-Dancer, and continued headline performances worldwide.

UK-born, Australia-based artist and Bush Records boss Eric Powell joins Rekids’ RSPX sublabel with ‘Bearhugg’, releasing 20th February 2026 alongside a remix from Melbourne’s Rory Marshall.

The track is dancefloor hypnotism at its best, with squelchy square bass underpinning a straight House-like groove and playful bleeps above, all while dubby moments of bliss break things up. Late Night Specialist label head and Bush Records regular Rory Marshall follows with his no-nonsense mix of ‘Bearhugg’, living up to its name with tougher drums and amped-up lasers for a rolling, strobe-lit warehouse feel.

Eric Powell started out in Manchester in the 90s, becoming a highly sought-after DJ who played at key clubs such as The Hacienda, and later held residency at Brighton’s Zap Club while earning a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in its earliest years. Alongside Eric Gooden, he founded Blip Music before the pair launched Bush Records in 1993, a label Powell still runs today. Since relocating to Melbourne, Australia, in 1999, Eric Powell has continued to shape the scene not only through producing and performing but also via event curation, mentorship, and education.

Italian producer Dukwa debuts on Pets Recordings with his latest EP, 'I Feel The Attraction', releasing 13th February 2026 alongside a remix from Glasgow's Austin Ato. Drawing from both Techno and House, Dukwa's sound has won support from the likes of Peggy Gou, Solomun, Seth Troxler, Ben UFO, and many more.

The 'I Feel The Attraction' EP delivers three Electro-fuelled cuts, opening with 'Disco Triumph', a classy, soulful track doused in melodic chords, punchy percussion, and big brass elements. 'Attraction' and 'Morning Routine' follow, built around slicing hi-hats, textured basslines, and distorted vocals that drive the release forward. Closing out the release, Scottish producer, DJ, Futureboogie, Rekids, Classic, and Phonica artist Austin Ato remixes 'Disco Triumph', infusing the original with earworm piano lines and a real classic dancefloor feel.
