This mix is a bit of a reflection of who I am as a person... Its tough, unpredictable, deep, dark, a bit distorted, far from perfect, quite messy and completely filthy! Rekluziv - Liberated

I started listening to rave music in the early 90's. After spending the summer of 1995 in the Netherlands, I got heavily into Happy Hardcore. I started buying the mixtapes of local Happy Hardcore DJ's on my return home. I soon realised that I wanted to become a DJ. I sold my huge mixtape collection to fund buying records and soon got down to mixing. I then moved on to Trance in 1999 and by early 2001, I was smashing out Hard House sets. Things moved so fast that come 2005, I had journeyed from Hard House to Hard Trance and then to Funky House and finally Electro. I was picking up gigs here and there over the years and dabbled in production but I packed it all in to focus on my actual day job and life. After a 14 year hiatus, I returned to my position behind the decks in late 2018. Things had changed considerably in those 14 years. No longer had I to race to my local record stores to pick up the latest promo's and imports, gone were the days that carrying two record boxes to a gig was the norm and playing on a set of Technics 1200's or 1210's was seemingly a lost and ancient art. I carried my entire collection of tunes in my pocket on a USB pen to my first gig in 14 years and took to the new equipment like a duck to water. Blending a mixture of modern Melodic to Hard Techno that has influences from all the different genres I played before my 14 years in the wilderness. I've since appeared on podcasts and national radio in the UK and Canada. I also held a short residency with The Giants Organ. After a period of illness and series of medical procedures that stretched from 2019 into most of 2020, I'm coming back in 2021..! Banging out the finest techno I can find and produce myself. I'm hoping this is "third time lucky"!!
