MM PREMIERES are meant to transcend the ordinary and immerse themselves in the sacred realm of music, beholding the unseen and embracing the new melodic tapestry even before it unveils itself to the world.

Today we have Dee Dee's Picks, a label from Amsterdam run by super talented artist Déandrah, presents their latest release: "Ethereal Realms - All Fiction is Metaphor" by Marie Delprat. We are really happy to premiere an ambient/minimal synth piece, "Ouverture," explores deep themes of identity and existence.

Marie Delprat, a French musician based in Basel, draws from various musical cultures to create hybrid projects. Her new release delves into questions of self and the human condition, inspired by Ursula K. Le Guin's novel "The Left Hand of Darkness." Through a blend of narration, music, and commentary, Delprat examines what it means to be human and a female performer in a post-humanistic world.

Slow Piano music with a cinematic, peaceful and positive feel. Due to its calm, soothing, tranquil, but also inspiring character, this relaxing background music instrumental, combined with beautiful views of Switzerland's mountains around Engelberg, can be a perfect fit for your relaxation, spa, mood music, study music, yoga, or even meditation music playlist.

How you use the music, is up to you. It's broadly known, that nature can have profound positive effects on us humans. At least I myself feel that way, when I am at a beautiful place like in the mountains, or at beautiful coastlines. This is why I decided to capture a nature scene like this and combine it with my music. Technically, I created this whole piece, like you see it, within 7 days, starting with climbing the mountain and shooting footage of the landscape, then getting inspired for a tune, then creating, recording and mixing the music, while editing the short movie.

I hope I could communicate some of the excitement, but then also some of the deep relaxation, which I feel when I am in the mountains. About this music/ video: There is something about California, that attracts me so much, that I decided to catch my cam, jump on a plane, and go for a few day coastal trip this November (2012), just to bath in nature, getting inspired for new tunes and eventually capture some good looking video footage for you. About this specific tune: For the first time with the relaxdaily project, I got a bit of musical help with this tune: My brother Jan played the acoustic guitar on this one. It's basically one riff that repeats throughout the track. You can hear it best between 0:02 and 0:14. The rest is pure relaxdaily arrangement :)
