I haven't dropped anything for a while, so here's something for all my Epic Tribute Medley subscribers. Here's a quick piano improv over a simple beat. I had no prep for this and did this in one take, so I have no music sheets. Excuse the poor video quality, I used my non-HD Mac webcam.

It's March, 27th, 2012 // 3:14pm L.A. time // I'm in my homestudio in Weilerswist (near Cologne, Germany)
This is relaxdaily track N°044. It took me just one day to create it (Well, I don't count here a couple of approaches that went into the recycle bin between the last finished track and this one.) But after 7 months focussing on „relaxation music“  I think I get more effective at creating these. I'm still on a journey to find my sound. I want it to be a mixture of „cinematic“, calming and relaxing, being not too boring to listen to, while also never distracting, when people use it as „music to study to“ or as „work music“. I want my music to bring a little bit peace in your life. We often forget how beautiful life is (or can be) on this planet. We must remember each other from time to time about that. Please don't listen to the garbage in the news (TV, web, paper). Yes, there is some shit out there. But we tend to over emphasize that more than it's healthy. Since I reduced reading „the news“ dramatically, I'm a happier person. You might try that too. Use the time for enjoying all the small wonders of YOUR life. 
I hope my music can communicate some kind of peace and beauty to you.

PS: I believe this track can, due to it's character, work well as music for meditation, music for yoga, music to cool down after workout, also as work music, music to study to, music for homework, also as background music for multiple purposes, e.g. for the rest/coffe/tea/lounge area in your office (only for cool workplaces – speak to your boss, if you don't have some kind of chillout space at work). This was quite a hard week. Probably it doesn't interrest you, but I could only spend 15 hours for this, for me so important, relaxdaily project (I feel like I need 60 ;) However, there's a new track: N°047. It's a really calming one with only short melodic sequences. The rest is a mix of peaceful flowing music and sounds, setting a relaxing ambience. Try to use it e.g. for meditation, relaxation, as music for work and studying, as spa and massage music...
In the following weeks I myself want to learn how to create meaningful music with the (time) resoursses I got. Also, I'll try to define for myself more clearly, what the music for this relaxdaily channel should be and what it shouldn't be. This will help me creating with more confidence and focus, hopefully resulting in truly useful music for you.

Relaxdaily is a music project I started in August 2011. The vision is to create a place, where you can come to when you feel the need to. It's about slow, peaceful, atmospheric music that can be used as a soundtrack for multiple activities. Depending on your interrest you might use my music in your relaxation music playlist, as yoga music or as meditation music (I know, this is not the ordianary music for meditation, but it works for many people). You might also use it as music whily you're studying, doing homework, working (mentally, creatively), reading, writing, while thinking or reflecting, dreaming, reviewing, making future plans. Some use it as „sleep music“ (though there might be better sleep music out there...). Call it chillout, ambient, New Age, instrumental, or background music – this is not as much about a genre as it is about a feeling. A way of life. With the relaxdaily project, I try to take a little heat from our (generally) too busy lives. I try to deliver a soundtrack for you, when you feel the need for some positive, cooling, liberating tunes.

A word from the creator: 
This is video footage I shoot in July of  2012 in Croatia. It was a cloudy week here in Germany and I desperately felt the need to see some sun. So I jumped into my car and drove all the way down (1000km) to this place. Back home the video footage inspired me to create the music you listen to right now. For me, combining a picture and music in such a way is pure joy. I hope you enjoy it, too.
