FIREBALL

Convalesce was an unreleased and unfinished track I made a while ago, probably a couple months before I worked on it for the EP, and the prompt was “Make a song’s hook or chorus built around at least two meter changes” which I didn’t completely follow through on. What I did instead was have the whole song be in 4/4 but have the second drop be in 6/8. The word Convalesce means to get over something, and in general I find myself worrying about a lot of things, like how unorganized this song’s project file is. What I realized is that I can still make the track sound alright even without a steady and clear vision of the entire thing. It may also mean that I happen to have some personal stuff I have to move on from, but that’s kinda boring to talk about.

posting this for the sake of it. was supposed to be on homemade but i didn't like it then and i don't now.

i'm so incredibly bummed that i haven't made anything that i'm proud of in the past five months or so and i don't know why i think anyone will read this and care. i just hope you get something out of this because sooner or later i'm deleting it. there's no way i'm willing to keep this piece of shit up.

i'm happy to get nearly 500 followers and i can't thank the people who support me enough. i want to make something honestly meaningful soon and i want it to sound good, so stick around for that maybe.
