Maor Levi, one of Anjunabeats' most beloved talents, collaborates with Brandon Vendetta and Ash Nova on 'Alone', out now.

Maor has been a semi-regular contributor to Anjunabeats since 2006, and in that time he has helped to define the modern sound of the label. Maor first signed to Anjunadeep at the age of 15 with 'Lital', before jumping across to Anjunabeats. He's since produced a continuous stream of club hits for the label including classics like ‘Reflect’, ‘Shapes’ and ‘Won’t Say No’.

In 2022, he dropped two remixes of Above & Beyond, taking on 'With Your Hope' and 'Chains' respectively. He also thrilled crowds at A&B's Group Therapy Weekender London festival last autumn.

'Alone' is Maor's first original material on Anjunabeats since the 'Am I Dreaming?' EP in October 2021. Joining him on 'Alone' are Brandon Vendetta, who's previously remixed Maor's side-project Elysian, and production/vocalist duo Ash Nova.

We are honoured to present a new TDP Presents mix this month, from the one and only super talented Boy North!

Boy North is one of Scotlands most promising up and coming Melodic & Deep House Producers. Hailing from the city of Edinburgh, Boy North started out as a Dj from a very early age, Learning his craft and gaining musical roots from his Father. He went on to play for some of the biggest events the captial had to offer. After hearing Lane 8’s Hot As You Want in 2015, he instantly fell in love with the melodic side of house music. Boy North then started his music production journey in late 2016 and never looked back. He has released on labels including Colorize, Monstercat Silk, FSOE UV, Stress Records, ZeroThree, Purified, Songspire, Circus Records and Another Rhythm. Having since had support from names like Kolsch, Lane 8 , Joris Voorn and Cristoph the future is bright for him! 

You can catch Boy North in action at the legendary Ministry of Sound next Friday and in Ibiza at Ocean Beach and Eden in September.

Near the end of 2016, we were treated to eleven.five's poignant debut artist album, "When People Become Numbers." Amongst many memorable pieces, "Remember," featuring the extraordinary Arielle Maren, stood out to us and served as the album's lead single, as well as the inspiration for an official music video. Label veterans Blood Groove & Kikis now join eleven.five himself in offering fresh new takes on this heartfelt classic.

Blood Groove & Kikis' unforgettable rendering begins with a chilled, beat-less introduction, in which the soothing sounds of nature unite blissfully with radiant, sun-kissed synths, and, of course, Arielle's ethereal vocal. A vintage progressive house groove ultimately joins the soundscape near the three-minute mark, adding a gentle swing to the arrangement, as the song patiently crescendoes toward the climax. With so many melodic masterpieces under Blood Groove & Kikis' belt, we're reluctant to use superlatives to describe their latest work, but it's truly fair to say that the cinematic main breakdown to follow is one of the most breathtaking moments of their celebrated oeuvre.

We had always hoped for a more traditional 4/4 interpretation from eleven.five of his alternative-electronic, trip-hop-flavored "Remember," if only for the versatility it would afford us in our DJ sets. eleven.five's new progressive take, which has received early radio support from Above & Beyond, completely fulfills that request and also proves to be as emotive and inspired as his original version. The song jets out of the gate, courtesy of an exhilarating groove. In contrast to the emotional fragility of the original cut, Arielle's verses and subsequent chorus exhibit a more inspirational quality, which suits eleven.five's euphoric instrumentation perfectly.
