Balkan Connection begins the fall season in grand fashion with a huge collaboration from Space Motion and Siguiente Tecnologia. Hailing from Serbia and Japan respectively this is not a first time collaboration from the duo having previously appeared on Timeless Moment, MNL and One Of A Kind. As one of 2018’s most hyped production duos, Space Motion and Siguiente Tecnologia now debut on Balkan Connection with ‘Transition’.

Spread across three tracks the duos fresh take on progressive music continues to evolve with some of their most accomplished work to date. Beginning with the vibrant title track ‘Transition’, Space Motion and Siguiente Tecnologia take us on a buoyant, effervescent journey into fresh design and playful rhythms. Nicely dialled for the dance floor, it’s the main break which proves most captivating, moving through subtle shades and tones while a stirring backdrop adds just the right emotive touch to complete the track. Continuing with ‘Duty’ the tempo shifts up to an exuberant 126 BPM, while it’s evolving storyboard remains captivating across it’s eight minute running time. Complete with siren-like wails and a retro synth motif, it’s a piece that pleases both the mind and feet, perfectly segueing into the EP’s closer ‘Solicitation’. As the collection’s most techno inspired creation it definitely packs a punch. Growling synths, choppy percussion and a killer arp converge for the ultimate sonic comet. Upon stripping down into the main break the narrative shifts into twisted territory with a squelchy theme decaying to a fiery peak before the beats drop for what should be a massive club moment. It rounds out three unique and inspired tracks from Space Motion and Siguiente Tecnologia, who remain one of the progressive scenes most creative duos. Highly recommended.
