SNC Recs welcomes back Bliss Inc. – this time teaming up with DJ TEETH, one of the forces behind Berlin’s beloved Hypersoft collective, for a luminous split EP titled Summer of Dreams. Longtime collaborators and kindred selectors, Bliss Inc. and DJ TEETH channel their shared love of melodic grooves and hazy euphoria into four radiant cuts built for golden-hour haze and late-night afterglow. The result is a warm, emotive ride through the dreamier edges of house and progressive.

Opening the EP, Bliss Inc. delivers two dreamy, forward-leaning cuts: "Outside" builds a hypnotic flow with layered textures, shimmering pads, and a steadily driving bassline. "Verbs" channels a 90s-inspired trance energy – bold, pulsating, and emotionally rich. Following up, DJ TEETH keeps the momentum alive: “Ticketera” rides a tight groove with playful swing and sensual vocal snippets, and “El Niño” closes the EP on a tender note — weaving lush harmonies, polyrhythmic detail, and a gentle push toward sunrise.

Summer of Dreams is more than a name — it’s a feeling. A soundtrack to fleeting nights, sweaty mornings, and the golden haze in between.

Baroque Angel unveils Heaven Sent, a debut full-length album where club music collides with emotional urgency. Across eight tracks, Baroque navigates the afterglow of the big city, divine drama, and the fragility of becoming. From the haunting introspection of “Theodicy” and “Far from heaven” to the anthemic rage of “Lashing out”, the record unfolds like a transmission from a future altar, somewhere between the rave and resurrection.

Born from long nights of solitude, shared dancefloors, and spiritual inquiry, Heaven Sent reflects a journey of transformation in sound and self. The album plays with contrasts: softness and distortion, tenderness and power, euphoria and collapse, echoing Baroque Angel’s own emotional landscape. Rather than offer resolution, these tracks invite listeners into liminal space: where joy aches, and catharsis comes in waves.

Entirely produced and mixed by Baroque Angel, the album features collaborations with dry and CyberKills, adding layers of texture and tension to an already emotionally charged work. From fragmented vocals to percussive rushes, the sound design draws from house, electro-pop, techno, and cinematic atmospheres — all filtered through a queer, ecstatic lens. This is club music as prayer, plea, and release.

All tracks are mastered by producer and DJ Bright Clouds. Visual identity comes courtesy of creative director and photographer Iuri Lis and graphic artist Bolaxitas, whose work channels the album’s vision of sacred art meets electro-pop dystopia. Heaven Sent arrives August 1st.

RUTA unveils ‘Erre’, a new Various Artists compilation, expanding its global line up

RUTA unveils its second Various Artists compilation, Erre, a release rooted in club music experimentation and aligned with the label’s commitment to a transnational creative ethos. With contributors hailing from Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador, Germany, the U.S., China, U.K., and France, the compilation reads as a dispatch from a network of producers who share an intuitive understanding of rhythm-forward, bass-weighted dance music, no matter where they call home.

The tracklist offers a dynamic, shapeshifting palette: vocal-driven club tracks collide with broken rhythms, angular leftfield techno mutations, dembow-oriented tools, and even UK garage hybrids. No single genre binds it all together, only a sonic attitude marked by intensity, boldness, and a diasporic rhythmic fluency.

Erre is more than a showcase of tracks, it signals a maturation moment for RUTA, a label of Colombian origin operating from Germany, as it shapes its position within a more global, post-local club continuum. By drawing together both long-time collaborators and newer voices connected by a shared musical language, Erre builds not just a compilation, but an evolving platform for shared expression.

Noise Casino spent years carving out a distinct space in Colombia’s electronic music scene—DJing, making music, podcasting, and organizing events across the country, with roots in both Bogotá and Manizales. Now based between Berlin and the Black Forest, his music has evolved into a percussive, bass-heavy, and club-focused sound, unbound by genre.

After a two-year hiatus, he returned in force with tracks released on Martyn’s 3024 and Colombian staples Artificio and Furatena. His music has been featured on outlets like Resident Advisor, DJ Mag, and Tropical Waste, and played by renowned names on platforms such as Rinse FM, NTS, Dekmantel, Boiler Room, Kiosk Radio, The Lot Radio, among others. As co-founder of RUTA, a party series turned label, he’s amplifying diasporic electronic music in Germany.

Playful, satirical and with plenty of commentary that digs into the human experience – Blast Havers is a Bay Area-based electronic outfit that blends slow tech house, quirky sound design and a splash of witty lyricism. They like to throw convention out the window, and instead opt for a sound that pokes fun at life’s absurdities while making you lose it on the dancefloor.

Blast Havers thrives on paradoxes, taking slower BPMs and injecting them with high-energy tricks that keep the momentum high. Each track is a whimsical journey through a musical maze, filled with twists and turns that are perfect for any time slot. Their goal? Obviously, to make you dance, but also to take it back to the roots of electronic music. That is, to promote human connection – regardless of the number in your bank account, your so-called ‘social status,’ or your demographics.

Often rife with highly satirical themes, Blast Havers' tracks don’t shy away from observational humor. 'Tested On Animals,' for instance, is a track inspired by the absurdity of finding a bag of dog treats that states "this product is not tested on animals." It’s these moments of everyday irony that fuel the creative engine within Blast Havers.

They draw from a vast palette of musical influences, ranging from the old-school funk of James Brown to the electronic innovators Daft Punk, Gorillaz and Pendulum. They also cite the hip-hop flair of De La Soul and nu-metal icons Incubus as having a profound impact on their sound and direction.

Blast Havers is currently set to release a string of singles over the coming months. Kicking things off is "Tested On Animals," set to drop in November 2024, followed by "Content Schmontent" featuring Ori Kawa in January 2025. Rounding out this musical trifecta is "Take The Ride," slated for release in February 2025.
