“Fade Into You” by Mazzy Star appeared as the first track on the album "So Tonight That I Might See" (1993) and was written by lead singer and lyricist Hope Sandoval with music composed and produced by the band’s guitarist, David Roback.

I wrote this to offer listeners hope through connection at a time when it could only be achieved virtually. “Down” is a follow up to my previous single “Grayside” both sharing glass half-full optimism of the world through the eyes of a realist.
