Rell HUES was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI. He began rapping in 2004, writing songs and putting together mixtapes with friends but never taking music seriously as a pursuit until finally releasing his debut solo mixtape in 2019, titled 'Sheep's Clothing'. Rell considers himself to be a man of the people and makes music with the goal of inspiring others to be the best versions of themselves, reaching their fullest potential and never giving up on their dreams (hence his last name, which is an acronym for Heal and Unite Every Soul). His style showcases a versatility that few artists possess. He cites Jay Z, J. Cole,  Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Dipset and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony as some of his greatest influences. In 2021, he launched The Black Sheep Society, a brand under which he serves as both owner and artist with the goal of expanding and becoming renowned nationwide.
