Some really great stuff going on, lots of energy and jazzy melody, unfortunately in many places there are too many sounds in the same space becoming confusing and detracting from the overall. A definite case of less is more.

I think it could do with a little cleaning up rythmically.

The ending is good, but a bit disconnected from the rest of the piece.  There are a lot of good sections and themes here, but none of them are explored nearly long enough.  Maybe adding a formal structure to the piece (like rondo format) would define how long each section should be explored, as well as provide a solid set up for the ending.

Rellik - Fundido (OSC entry)

Here we gooo! This is my first OSC entry. With this piece, I experimented mashing together some basic EDM tendencies with weird speed funk drums and an arcade shoot-em-up style composition. This was a fun challenge; limitation seems to be my best source of inspiration so far. This whole process taught me a lot about what I should be focusing on in terms of song structure and sound design. Now it's time to dig into other Surge submissions and see what crazy stuff I didn't think of!

I used 33 instances of Surge. 9 of them are for reinforcement or double-tracking, though, so it's more like 24. All creative FX are from Surge's FX alone.

Channel FX used: 5x Fruity Limiter (2 for light comp on kick/snare and 3 for sidechain), 1x Fruity Parametric EQ2 for some gentle mix highpassing, 2x Maximus to beef up the drums and bass busses a little. I tried to keep it mostly barebones to maintain the feel of Surge.

Time Dilation (OSC 123 Qyuoo)

Another track, done. Truly defying the odds. 
So! The Qyooo was a challenging plugin to use! Took me a while to wrap my head around its workflow. It's reeeally tough to use for percussion, but it was a blessed and humbling exercise in sound design. My filter game has strengthened. The oscillators are pretty simple, most of the focus is on the filter modulations.

Texturally, it's a bit simple from the chiptune mindset, so I went much more melodic than I usually go to compensate. Learned a bunch, but I'm not sure if I'm satisfied... Kind of fits together strangely.

I used 39 instances of Qyooo, but 11 are for either doubling or lazy modulation, so it's really more like 28. FX used: Fruity PMEQ2, Fruity Limiter and Fruity Reverb 2 on most, with the addition of Maximus on bass bus. In the box, bay beeeee
