Submerge and Ricardo Garduno - Watching Ep - Impact Mechanics (US) Orlando Solis and Ricardo Garduno have been making some big moves. The two have become staple icons and prolific producers in the techno scene. They are consistently releasing class 'A' material. This EP is no exception. "Watching and Dialect" Both slowly build and transition into a harder jam with a massive analog bass-line. Although, the track begins on the tame side, it quickly morphs into a hot, dancefloor mover with shuffling, rocking techno rhythms. The flip are two outstanding remixes by Angel Costa and Xpansul. The remixes can be best described as blazing rhythms and slow-building hypnotic undertones. The remixes are truly amazing.

Bio- 
The key moment for Ralf and Jörg Swoboda happened in the mid-90ies: the first techno sounds inspired the brothers strongly and they build up a very special connection with electronic music. Within the next years, the interest in the music and its scene increased and reached its peak in 2000, when they startet to spin the records themselves.  In 2002, both started to produce their first tracks. What started as a hobby, soon became real passion.  In 2008 they issued their first release with the label LuckySounds - the name Acencor was born. From then on, nobody could hold them down: the club debut was held in the same year. From then on, they were regular guest in the legendary club U603011 and made the crowd crazy about their sound. Since then they produced several EPs and remixes on labels like Ground Factory, Toneman, Yellow Recordings and many more that did not only reach the DJ charts, they were also used in sets of artists around the globe.  From the end of 2011, they were able to be part of the .raw event series and started off as residents next to Monoloc, Gayle San, Brian Sanhaji, Alan Fitzpatrick, Drumcell, Len Faki, Ben Klock and many more.  Their sound is full of energy, technoid, moving forward and partly with futuristic sounds - clearly nobody can resist this incredible drawing power on the dancefloor!

According to the Babylonian Mul.Apin, which dates from 1000–686 BCE, this constellation was known as "The Furrow", representing the goddess Shala's ear of grain. One star in this constellation, Spica, retains this tradition as it is Latin for "ear of grain", one of the major products of the Mesopotamian furrow. The constellation was also known as "AB.SIN" and "absinnu". For this reason the constellation became associated with fertility. According to Gavin White the figure of Virgo corresponds to two Babylonian constellations: the "Furrow" in the eastern sector of Virgo and the "Frond of Erua" in the western sector. The Frond of Erua was depicted as a goddess holding a palm-frond – a motif that still occasionally appears in much later depictions of Virgo. There is very important documentation referring to the description of the constellation Virgo, which has its origin in the ancient Assyrian-Babylonian culture. This constellation has always been female and has been especially associated with the tension between fertility and beauty. The Babylonians associated this constellation with the goddess Ishtar, also well-known under the name of Ashtoreth or Astarte.
The Greeks and Romans associated Virgo with their goddess of wheat/agriculture, Demeter-Ceres who is the mother of Persephone-Proserpina. Alternatively, she was sometimes identified as the virgin goddess Iustitia or Astraea, holding the scales of justice in her hand as the constellation Libra. Another myth identifies Virgo as Erigone, the daughter of Icarius of Athens. Icarius, who had been favoured by Dionysus, was killed by his shepherds while they were intoxicated and Erigone hanged herself in grief; Dionysus placed the father and daughter in the stars as Boötes and Virgo respectively. In the Middle Ages, Virgo was sometimes associated with the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Virgo is often portrayed carrying two sheaves of wheat, one of which is marked by the bright star Spica.

DRR Podcast 008 - Axkan

Coming off of EP releases on Dynamic Reflection and 100% Pure, Uun returns to his label Ego Death for it's third release, and it's first on vinyl. 

The title track references Carl Sagan's classic work of skepticism "Demon Haunted World." It features a percussive attack that builds into a swirling tornado of distorted synths and hihats. "The Scarlet Martyr" takes a different approach that is heavy on pads and atmospheric elements, all over a bed of field recordings. The B Side starts with NX1's remix of the title track. This interpretation chops up the synths and percussive elements into a broken beat onslaught that builds into the main synth element being deconstructed piece by piece. The final track "Dominions" continues in the broken beat direction with a more straightforward dancefloor approach.
