Drunken Kong

Bio- 
Drunken Kong is the project of D. Singh and DJ Kyoko. In 2010, the two started their project when one day, they suddenly decided to make a track together.  Since then Drunken Kong focuses on experimenting with different styles of techno. Both members, coming from different musical backgrounds, have put their minds and energy in creating uplifting music.  
 
Since the first gig of Drunken Kong at the end of 2011, they have been constantly active in the Tokyo techno scene, playing in major Tokyo clubs such as Womb, Ageha, and Air.  In early 2012, they successfully released their first EP on Rome based label Beenoise records.  From then, they have also released on labels such as London based Twisted Beats and Berlin based, Parlez Music.  The duo have also been active with the domestic labels as well, releasing an EP from Shin Nishimura`s Plus Records and various tracks from Session Trax of Womb.  Their recent release from Unity Record has gained support from very successful artist such as Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Bart Skils and more.  Their release, "Beat It" has also been played by Adam Beyer in his famous Drumcode Radio. 
  
D.Singh is a unique mix of Indian and Japanese. Studying in an audio engineering school in Los Angeles, he has primarily focused on making up- tempo music and started his DJ career when he moved back to Japan in 2008. Being influenced by the music culture of Japan, D. Singh created his solo project in 2009 named Noncitizen. Since then he had been playing at various parties in Tokyo and other parts of Japan.   He successfully released his first track from Beatfreak Recordings. 
  
DJ Kyoko started her DJ career in 1995 playing reggae and then moved onto playing progressive house and techno.  In 2001, she moved her career to becoming a trance DJ, which lead her successfully in the international scene, playing in various countries (US, Israel, China, Korea etc) and also giving her the opportunity to play in the Love Parade as the first female DJ.   
  
The two have also played alongside internationally top techno artists such as Mauro Picotto, Speedy J, Gabriel Ananda, Gary Beck and recently with Axel Karakasis and D-Unity.  While constantly loving and being inspired by the music, Drunken Kong constantly expands their possibilities while maintaining their quality work.  With their powerful DJ styles and charisma, the two are able to constantly amuse the audience and keep the dance floor going while expanding their ideas and skills to the next level.

ASIO (aka R-Play) started his carrer in 2002 with the famous french D-Clik crew.
Follower of a strong and mental minimal techno he is an artist that always aims to compose music that keeps the aesthetics and underground culture alive.
His sets wander between many different dance floor styles like he uses to spin in France, Usa, India & Germany.
He turned into production by the year 2004/2005 and launched Triumbeats records for his own productions.
From then on his name has become synonymous with the techno sound of the new generation, which is quite literally shakin’ the world for now.
He has begun to release for the most legendaries underground labels like: Synewave (Damon Wild), Proper Nyc, Sleaze (Hans Bouffmyhre), Monoid, Suara (Coyu), Impact Mechanics, Circle (Alex Flatner), Spark (Steve Parker), Monocline (Re : Axis)…
Since 2008 he has produced crazy releases in many different styles: techno, minimal, house, tech-house and electro.
His Trax are played and supported by the press and the biggest dj’s & producers, as many artists wish to be remixed by him, It is clear that he is one of the most promising names around today and one of the most respected artist out there!

Bio -

Tom Hades started to discover and experiment with electronic music when listening to DAF, Kraftwerk, Front 242, ... At the age of 15, he bought his first keyboard, the famous Casio CZ-101 and transformed his game-computer, Amiga 500, into his first DAW. Quickly he got experienced with MIDI-integration and sampling functions, which gave him even more urge for buying/selling new material as addition to his current setup. During the same period, his old schoolfriend, RedHead, was co-producing with Marco Bailey. He got in contact with Marco too which led them in 2000 to their first co-release. And this was the start of a big period of releases, included the anthem of "I Love Techno" in 2001. Have a look at the discography for the complete overview ... In the same year as I Love Techno, Tom started to do live performances. He got more & more experienced and started to play all over the world. His live performance was fully appreciated in countries like Spain, Colombia, Brazil, France, Poland, Sweden, Mexico, Japan, Austria, Italy, Norway, Ireland, ... and on many known festivals like Nature One, I Love Techno, City Parade, ... In the first period of 2002, Tom also produced his first solo release. In the next 3-4 years he continued to produce tracks on his own as well as his co-production with Marco on respected labels like MB Elektronics, Pornographic Recordings, Rhythm Convert, Northwest Dynamics, Invasion, Fine Audio, Patterns, Lupp, ... In 2004, they decided it was time to take the next step, start a label. And so Rhythm Convert was born. Initially, the purpose of the label was to give an opportunity to new talents to release their stuff. Guys like Axel Karakasis, Spiros Kaloumenos, Veztax, ... did a very good job to show the people what is was all about. Nowadays, the label is more aimed to produce electro-techno tracks and less oriented towards loopy techno sounds. End 2004, they released their full album, Rude Boy, caused a stirr all over the world. The best proof was their live performance during Nature One @ Pydna were they literally "blew the place to kingdom come" ! His current releases on labels like MB Elektronics & Rhythm Convert are oriented in the same way his musical taste changes, more melodic and even sometimes more dramatic music with flavors of techno, minimal, tekhouse and electro. Nowadays, Tom is busy at concentrating in his next step, to develop his "dj-career". In the near future, you can expect dj-sets with dedication and filled with energy, as known from his live-sets, to give his fans the pleasure of clubbing ! But as every self-respected artist, he will never forget his roots, so live-sets will still be part of his main occupation ! In the means of productions, future releases will certainly be done, as well as a second album together with Marco. So keep your eyes open on some new productions, because they will certainly surprise lots of people ..

Swedish techno producer Andy Notalez, born in 1986 has been in the business for many years. Released music in over 25 lables including the leading ones. Right now he is busy with his own Yellow Recordings, a shady dark label that will focus on established artists in the techno scene. He also hosting his own label partys in Stockholm, Sweden. Andy has played as a DJ around the world from Berlin basement clubs to Miami WMC. Talented artist in his own right he produces a powerful sound that cannot be missed. Being a newcomer in this overcrowded market doesn't seem appealing at first sight. Putting in a lot of effort to establish one's reputation is not everyone's cup of tea. To stand out of the masses one must buckle down or have the proper Vitamin B. When Vitamins are lacking, what especially counts are a strong will and persistence. Those are guarantors for the opportunity to exhibit one's talent eventually. The rise of Krenzlin followed this principle on one of the surest Newcomer-Floors in the world. After Sebastian Krenzlin started DJing in 2003, it took several years for him to eventually be discovered as a newcomer after his participation at the Tresor Award of Pacou in 2009. Since he played in the Tresor for the first time in September 2010, he is counted among the steady Ensemble of Berlin's legendary club. With the series of events „New Faces“ and three allies he forms a platform for the performance of new faces. Every first Wednesday in the month he starts his own special event under this flag seeking for new talents who impersonate this spirit. Even as a producer Krenzlin build up a reputation since 2011. If one reads the list of labels under which he has released since, it is hard to believe that such a fantastic discography can be formed in this short amount of time. With Synewave,Nachtstrom Schallplatten,Driving Forces Recordings,Starkstrom Schallplatten, Mastertraxx Records, Slap Jaxx or IF?Records the best pools for exceptional, underground profiles of techno-acts of the last years string together. In the spring of 2012 a co-production with 88uw and Synewave followed and came like a bombshell exactly like the one countless times before in the Tresor...

Bio-
Going thru the high increase of electronic music projects in Mexico, we can say there is one that has have maintained the most original sound, creating the perfect combination of ethnic roots and electronic contemporary elements, we are talking about the project called Axkan. Kraftwerk, Skinny Puppy, Orbital, Plastikman, Jorge Reyes, among others, have been source of inspiration to create the musical basics of Federico Sanchez, known as Axkan. Since his early ages, Federico was a devoted participant in the electronic movement of Mexico; together with Luis Flores and Álvaro de la Rocha (Chetos), they produced for many years in Jalisco the first radio show dedicated to present exclusively electronic music: “La Fabrica X” (The Factory X), where representative bands of the 80’s like Front 242 y Skinny Puppy were played fluidly.
As a teenager, Luis as well as Federico started buying musical instruments, to start assembling a
project focused in the Industrial music and the E.B.M. The first tools were a sampler Ensoniq EPS-16+, a synthesizer Yamaha YS200 y the sequencer Cadenza for Windows. Later on, Jorge Hernandez a.k.a. (DJ Jorge HM) was invited to the project; this created the first phase of “Double Helix”. Few months later, Federico had the opportunity to live some experiences which made him conceive the idea of a different type of music where the percussions and the ethnic elements were more obvious than usual and then blend those with the electronic atmospheres from the end of XX century. For that reason, after working sometime in both projects simultaneously, Federico leaves Double Helix y creates his own project: Axkan, which means: “now” o “the present”, in náhuatl (native Mexican tongue).
Up to this day, Axkan keeps morphing, it doesn’t sound so ethnic anymore like in his first works; also, his musical expression musical has been changing towards a more modern sound, which could fall into minimal techno; maybe due to the influence of living close to Detroit and Chicago, this last one where he lives since 1999.
Like a musician, Federico has always been trying to create his unique sound, without trying to fall into a specific genre, without trying to make music that sell records, although he’s been very successful and Axkan have had the opportunity to play within most of the cities in Mexico, but mainly in Guadalajara where he keeps a continuous schedule. He also had taken his music to Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Russia and the USA off course, especially in Chicago.
He has recorded tracks in several compilations, like Toltécnica 2004 from label “Arteria”; a Spanish compilation called “The Secret Sounds of Latin-America”; “Tranceformation” and “Toltécnica I” under “Opción Sónica”. He is founder of the Mexican label “NopalBeat” and has included traces in all their compilations albums. He has also produced many remixes within the label, as well as presented some tracks in vinyl. Now in NopalBeat, Federico incorporates the classic atmospheres of the label, which reminds the age of the mambo, rumba and salsa so characteristic of the 50’s y 60’s. Although we should mentions that his particular sound has never sound as Latin as the other projects in the label, he still maintains his unique sound, brighten by his intensity and density.

Garrett Dillon (Dystopian Rhythm)

Bio - In the mid 90's, Garrett Dillon fell in love with electronic music via acts like The Prodigy, Aphex Twin, Autechre, and Underworld. In 1997 he attended his first warehouse rave in Detroit and immediately fell in love with the pounding kick drums and dark synths of techno.
Soon after, Garrett (more commonly known as Dillon) purchased his first set of Technics 1200s and a Vestax mixer. Within months he was playing gig after gig and quickly building a fanbase. Naturally, the promoting bug bit next and he organized his first event in 1998. He has since promoted nearly 50 underground events in and around Detroit.
In the early 2000's Dillon teamed up with local DJ Alastair Todd to form a label focusing on the hard tribal sounds of European techno. Around this time he started to play events across North America, from Toronto to Miami. The duo also performed together as a tag team, mixing everything from funky tribal to brutal industrial, while utilizing outboard effects and loop recorders (well before simply pressing a button in Traktor automatically did these tasks for you).
After a brief break from the scene, Dillon resurfaced as a performer and promoter, throwing what many called "the best Detroit party of 2011". His performances began to bridge the gap between DJ and live performance, utilizing MIDI controllers, Maschine and a host of effects to dismantle, rebuild and recreate music on the fly. 2012 will also see the rebirth of Garrett Dillon as a producer, and the launch of his record label "Dystopian Rhythm", co-founded with Margin Walker. Several high profile names are slated to be released on the label, along with Dillon's own production.

Israel Toledo is one of the most mexican exported Techno djs, in his sets normally likes to spinn hibrids of Techno.

In 2004 he produced the remix "Quetzalcoatl" for Corvin Dalek at Mark Reeders German label MFS-FLESH, the same year the remix was edited on the Love Parade..s compilation on the mexican edition and Poland for LIFE Magazine.

That year Israel Toledos track/ep called "Edge of Empire" was released at the Dutch Techno label Klirfactor/Highland Beats featured on the b-sides with Jorg Henze and Lars Klein.

On 2005 Israel Toledo edited again on a German label, this time was on MASTERS OF DISASTER(013), a very known techno label with his track called "Mexico City".

He starts that year his own label called "Assassin Soldier Recordings" and become the first mexican techno label on vinyl, the first label release called "Allies Coallition EP" included artists such as Nimbuz and Jan Liefhebber from Holland.

After that, Israel Toledo..s releases and remixes are doing good jobs on many labels world wide.
Now a days he is the host in his radio show called "Naranja Electronica" at the mexican bigest radio company called EXA F.M 104.1 fm in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, every friday nights.

He has been played at bigest festivals such as Love Parade Mexico and Mayday Mexico and has been playing in Europe, USA, Mexico and Venezuela turning up the dance floor.

In October 2014 he’d an European tour where made his debut performance at the legendary Techno club ‘Tresor’ in Berlin. In the last couple of years he’s been positioning his work in the globe with some releases like his track ‘Modulation Source’ on The Advent’s label Kombination Research with the ‘Duality EP’ alongside Spiriakos, released a remix for Spiros Kaloumenos at Illegal Alien Records, and just released two fresh EP’s, ‘Event Horizon’ remixed by Niereich and Submerge, his recently released remix for Niereich’s ’Normalized Frequency’ track, and ‘Empty Void EP’ in Illegal Alien Black Label, showing a darker and more experimental side. For the last year he’s been a part of the Mexikan Tekno Mafia (MTM). He’s music can also be found on other labels like Dark & Sonorous Recordings, Yin Yang Records, Android Muzik, Assassin Soldier Recordings, Blaq Records, etc. getting support from artists such as The Advent, Spiros Kaloumenos, Sasha Carassi, Ryuji Takeuchi, Niereich, Submerge, Dr. Hoffmann, Ricardo Garduno, Sutter Cane, Bryan Champan, and more. Since the last year, he’s been working with his partner in crime Fixon, developing their duo project ‘Modal Bank’ and launching their label Vector Functions Records.

With an emphasis on unconventional sound design, Tunnel is best described
as a sound sculptor working within the genre of Techno. His compositional
forms combine elements of sub bass, broken rhythms, and melodic abstractions
into a sonic tapestry, existing somewhere between fervor and seance,
chaos and artistry. Tunnel is an outlier within the techno scene, exclusively
performing his own original material and that of his Chicago-based
techno label, [ Webuildmachines ].
Based in Chicago, inspired by the echoes of Detroit, Tunnel launched his
record label, [ webuildmachines ], in 2013. The label’s Prolific output of
releases have garnered high praise and charted recognition from big
players within the electronic music community – Dave Clarke, Surgeon, Ben
Sims, Paula Temple, Tommy Four Seven, Drumcell, and Claude Young Jr., to
name but a few. Tunnel will continue to search for new sounds and
structures, getting deeper into the journey. Every tunnel performance is an
opportunity to participate in, and witness, the evolution of techno.

The Welderz is a french techno project created in 2012 by Jérémy & Cyril, respectively Dj’s and producers since the end of the 90's.

Inspired by a lot of Djs & musicians of all kinds, they play and produce an eclectic Techno that fits as well to the darker and underground scene that to the big room. 

Their music always tells a story and travel between raw sounds, Chords, groovy rhythm and mental melody.

In 2013, Their first EP, « ARLEQUIN », signed on the berliner label of Florian Meindl : FLASH Recordings, is played all over the world and supported by great artists like Monika Cruz, Stefan Bodzin, Markantonio, Maxime Dangles … 

Since then they offer us a few Techno releases and remixes on many recognised labels including: 
FLASH Rec, Analytic Trail, Sleaze, Arts, Driving Forces, Rhythm Converted, Unrilis, Unknown Territory, Amazone, Reloading… and meet great success in the Techno charts!

In only a couple of years, their music is Played and supported by the most brilliant Dj’s of the globe like Laurent Garnier, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Slam, Audio Injection Aka Truncate, Hans Bouffmyhre and many more …

On Stage, The Welderz are making regular Show with impressive DJ set and live act, in the biggest clubs of the French scene (Rex Club, Zig Zag, La Machine du Moulin Rouge, Glazart, Inox, Respublica …), But begin also an international carrier with gigs in Spain, Portugal, Uk, Italy …. 
Their appareance on stage are full of energy and always hailed by the crowd. 


For the futur, with a lot of incoming release and project, The Welderz will be certainly one of the french techno’s member to be followed!

YARI GRECO (1988) was born in Naples, coming from a family of artists, as it regards painting and craftsmanship, he discovers the art of the music at 10 years old, so becoming his passion and has been active on many fronts in the techno scene, since 2002. Influenced by a city that breaths industrial strength, he gradually found his way into creating an unique dark sound, with a mixing of psychedelic and acid frequencies, which lead him to the forefront of the European techno scene. In 2009 Yari Greco debuts with the majors historical Portuguese labels on (Naked Lunch Records and Kombination Research Records) with a industrial sound, and he receives good support from famous artists of the techno music. The art career of Yari Greco is becoming increasingly important and concrete, he is called to perform at the festival of techno music in (Spain) as Special Guest to celebrate the "Enox Djz" 1st Aniversary. Hyo, Burgos producer born in 1985 (ES).
From an early age, he always was attracted to dark and aggressive sounds of unconventional music.
At the age of 14, he discovered break, IDM and experimental styles listening to Aphex Twin, becoming the center of his musical universe. Hyo felt very curious about how was able to create all this range of sounds. With this curiosity, he starts his own productions.
Overtime he focused more on the techno scene, feeling identified with the industrial techno Birmingham.

Bio -
Victor Gallego, better known as Zair, is a techno producer from Spain, he lives in the balearic island of Mallorca, where is producing music since 2000, his first release was released at 2009. He make usually techno works, with powerful drums and heavy percussion but also like produce experimental things with dark atmospheres and strange sounds that plasm on his tracks and sets. In the summer of 2015 Zair make his first work in vinyl format, in this release collaborates with a remix for the spanish producer David Meiser. At the moment, Zair is creating some works for the spanish label Induxtriall Records, where is working since 2012.

Techno and movies Producer, based in Los Angeles.

A newcomer to the techno scene, Emmy winning film and television composer Tim Kelly has produced electronic music since the late 1970s when he saved up enough playing gigs to purchase a multi track tape deck, a Mini Moog and a Oberheim 4 voice synth.

After earning a university degree in composition during the 1980s and playing funk, rock, reggae, fusion jazz and bebop with various bands as a keyboardist, Tim always kept an eye out for new musical avenues to explore while pursuing his career as a scoring composer. In the mid-1990s, during his tenure composing, conducting and orchestrating in L.A. for various Warner Bros. animated series, he rediscovered electronic music as its popularity exploded across the international scene. Over the next decade he fell madly in love. 

Tim finally gave in to the urge to produce straight up techno in the late 2000s and his lifelong experience with so many different musical styles helped to quickly define a unique sound. He’s gained the support of such artists as Drumcell, Audio Injection, Spark Taberner, DJ Hi-Shock, Niereich, GO!DIVA and many more. His tracks have been remixed by the likes of Perc, Octave, Luis Flores, Adam Jay and Angel Alanis. With releases on Gynoid Audio, Driving Forces, Chroma and Silent Steps Records, Tim shows no signs of slowing down.
