This 145bpm psytrance track is a journey through shadow and light. Luminous Liminous was created in 2023, that was later finished in 2025, renamed and became Psicadah's debut track. 

It served as a trauma release effort and sonic ritual to confront the fears we face and the weight we carry, whether it takes form as personal demons, collective wounds, mental battles, spiritual/physical oppression, or the inherited chains of tradition and society. 

With immersive atmospherics inspired by South Africa's beautiful bird and insect life, grounded with full-on/progressive style basslines, playful arps, cosmic synth and FM creatures that slither and pop in the night, the track opens a space where facing darkness and finding safety in the night becomes liberation, and sound becomes catharsis. Every drop, every pause, every pulse is a reminder that the shadow does not exist to be avoided, but to be confronted, integrated, transformed, and transcended. 

This piece is from the heart, it’s a release, a reclamation, and an offering to anyone walking their own edge between collapse and breakthrough. Step into the current, jump into the river, feel the resistance dissolve, remove the anxiety, embrace and honor our human vulnerability and mortality.

Lumous Liminous is an attempt to describe the ethereal, liminal space where fear doesn’t exist, only gratitude for all that IS and a renewal of perception through the lens of love and freedom. It also serves as a personal journal entry through my experiences with DMT and Salvia Divinorum and how they forever molded my perception on reality. In the stillness there is nothing to fear, it's just you, it's all you. Enjoy the ride.
