In just half a decade EXHALE’s unique brand of boundary-pushing, futuristic electronic music has marked them out as one of techno’s all-time greats, bringing together rising artists with heavyweight international names like no-one else. Evidenced succinctly on their highly impressive VA series, now on its seventh release, the compilations are a testament to the brilliance of Lens’ curatorial skill and the remarkable pool of talent in her orbit making waves in techno's global underground.

Across thirteen tracks, Exhale VA007 is a magnificent taster menu of some of the best in the game right now, featuring a number of familiar faces from the EXHALE roster including Flour, fresh from his recent Visitors EP on the label, previous VA returnees GALLØ and FLKN and EXHALE regular AIROD. Fittingly 5th birthday celebrations are opened here by label boss herself, with the incredible ‘Activate’. The track is everything you could want from Amelie Lens: pummeling kick, flawless, high impact production, trancy big room arps and a gargantuan drop that will put you in spin mode.

This is a compilation that brims with raw energy, exciting talent and encapsulates EXHALE’s dynamic techno universe with aplomb. As essential as the label itself, here’s to the next five years and many more to come!

Berlin-based but globally-minded artist Skatman makes his debut on DJ Hell's iconic International Deejay Gigolo Records with Selected Bangers LP. 

Conceived as a showcase of the most impactful tracks he produced over the past year, the album delivers exactly what its title promises: straight, no-compromise dancefloor bangers. 

Navigating styles from peak-time house energy on Turn Up The Heat to old-school rave in Choose Your Destiny, through Italo disco and acid on Runaway Railway, and finally Baile Funk on Assim, Skatman channels chaos into precision-built club fire. 

Selected Bangers LP will be released worldwide on December 12, 2025, in both vinyl and digital formats via International Deejay Gigolo Records.

Dark Distorted Signals presenta un lanzamiento especialmente significativo con Judgement Day, el nuevo EP de Jason Lake. Hoy en Vicious Magazine estrenamos en exclusiva su primer corte, “Frequency Test Conduct”, una pieza que condensa a la perfección la estética sonora del productor belga.

“Frequency Test Conduct” es un viaje al centro de la presión rítmica: un techno incisivo, dominado por pulsos eléctricos, modulaciones agresivas y un diseño sonoro preciso que hace honor al nombre del track. Lake construye una arquitectura industrial donde cada frecuencia empuja al límite, generando una tensión constante que mantiene al oyente atrapado desde el primer compás. Es un tema creado para el club, el cual estrenamos como homenaje a su reciente fallecimiento.

Este lanzamiento póstumo reafirma la visión técnica y artística de Jason Lake, una figura clave para el sonido del sello. Su capacidad para combinar crudeza, claridad y atmósfera permanece intacta, dejando un legado que seguirá resonando en la escena techno.

Hay temas que no sólo golpean la pista: golpean el pecho. “Judgement Day”, segundo corte del último EP de Jason Laake, es uno de ellos. Un fragmento de techno oscuro, directo y puntiagudo, que avanza como una llamarada fría y deja atrás un rastro de tensión eléctrica. Un track construido para ese instante en el que el club se estrecha, las luces se vuelven bisturí y la música deja de acompañar para dictar sentencia.

Este lanzamiento llega revestido de un peso emocional que lo hace aún más contundente: Jason Laake falleció recientemente a causa de un cáncer, y el sello Dark Distorted Signals publica este EP como homenaje final a un artista querido dentro y fuera del estudio. En el propio press, la frase que lo recuerda —“He was not only a great artist, but also a great man with a bigger heart”— suena hoy como un abrazo colectivo, un reflejo de la comunidad que lo rodeó.

En “Judgement Day”, todo está pensado para dejar huella: kick seco, percusión en tensión continua, un bajo que emerge desde el subsuelo y un diseño sonoro que no busca movimiento… lo exige. Es Leake en su versión más firme y afilada, con esa precisión quirúrgica que siempre definió su sonido.

Short Biography Darian Jaburg:
Darian Jaburg was born at Apr. 26. 1979 in Giessen (Germany). He starts his musical career at the age of 27. He has a great unmistakable own style of music.

The past few years have been important to Darian. He has signed to labels such as Reload Records, founded by The Yellowheads, as well as Finder Records, Klinik Room, Davotab, Carypla Records, MTZ Records, Sonika Music and many more.

His frst single "You Gotta Lotta Nerv" was released at 2015. Over the past years, some popular tracks have been followed like A-side (Original Mix), Supernova (Original Mix), Destroyed feat. Alala.One as well as Haitian Rum Runner (Remix Darian Jaburg). Over the past two years, Darian has consistently reached Top 100 rankings in the Beatport charts. His second release on Reload Records "Karma EP" reached #23 in the Beatport Top100 charts. A collaborative project with Maharti reached #15 on the Beatport Top 100 techno charts. Darian ́s tracks are featured in a Top 100 chart every week.
In 2018 Darian Jaburg founded his own label Black Snake Recordings, a young label that supports artists from all over the world to release their modern and high-quality techno productions. Today Darian's label Black Snake Recordings works with top artists like Frank Arvonio, Kaya DJ, Sara Krin, Heinick, Pierre Blanche, Maharti, Sopik and many more. Darian also publishes the Black Snake Recordings Radio Show and regularly runs Label Showcase parties.
However, his skills and abilities go further because electronic music is his frst big love.
