Romanian techno force Audio State (RO) returns to EXTIMA with a powerful two-track release that showcases his unmistakable signature: high-impact peak-time energy fused with hypnotic finesse. Following the success of his acclaimed Sentient Beings EP in 2022 from EXTIMA, Audio State now teams up with rising international talents JSMN (Brooklyn) and Darren Irvine (UK), pushing the boundaries of dancefloor-driven techno with a global touch.

Opening the EP, "Dream Sequence" — a collaboration with JSMN — is a peak-time bomb primed for big rooms. Commanding kickdrums and a pulsating groove set the foundation, while dark atmospheric layers and a haunting vocal add depth and tension. The breakdown takes a surprising twist with breakbeat influences, building into a massive drop that guarantees explosive crowd reactions. It's hypnotic, raw, and irresistibly effective.

On the flip side, "Nexus", created with Darren Irvine, delivers another peak-time masterpiece. The arrangement is tighter and more linear, driven by punchy low-end power and a catchy, stripped-back melodic motif. It's a no-nonsense, rolling techno weapon that reflects both producers' dancefloor sensibilities.

Audio State continues to affirm his place among the next wave of influential techno artists. With support from icons like Charlotte de Witte, Enrico Sangiuliano, Joyhauser, and Joseph Capriati, and previous releases on Terminal M, Unrilis, and Legend Records, his path is one marked by consistency, evolution, and artistic depth. This EP not only reinforces his reputation, but also introduces two promising collaborators poised to make waves in their own right.

Dream Sequence / Nexus is a reminder that the future of techno is collaborative, global, and very much alive.

Nicolo (AR) Ignites the Floor with High-Powered Techno Cut "Generator" on IAMT

Argentine producer Nicolo (AR) returns to IAMT with a thunderous new single titled "Generator," out June 20th.

Living up to its name, "Generator" surges with electrifying energy from the first kick. Driven by pulsating basslines, industrial-strength drums, and sizzling synth textures, Nicolo crafts a techno weapon engineered for maximum impact. The track strikes a balance between precision and chaos, building tension through rhythmic loops and explosive transitions.

Built for dark rooms and late-night sets, "Generator" cements Nicolo's reputation as a relentless producer pushing the boundaries of peak-time techno. Expect full voltage on the dancefloor.

Armed with 4 uniquely produced and distinct tracks, Oroquieta moves easily between warping and hypnotic sounds to more tougher and abrasive material. 

I Finished My Homework is a relentless, drum heavy opener that leans on a hard hitting and continuous rhythm while title track, Aquadance, takes a deeper, hypnotic route with pulsating, warping synths creating a dark tension throughout. La Serpiente Perdio Su Rumbo once again brings Oroquieta’s tougher sound as pounding drums back looped out synths before Amazing Dance closes out the release with distorted and unyielding power.
