Linus Quick - Element [RBFMLY008]

Vazdaisti (born 2000.) is a DJ and active promoter of electronic music and scene from Vitez, BiH currently living and studying in Zagreb. He started DJ-ing in 2015 and is CEO of Princip.ba collective.

As a kid, he was interested in music and played his first notes on the guitar. With previous musical experience, refined taste and craving for quality, he has ventured into the waters of electronic music.
His style, although always the same, is never the same. It is mostly characterized by fast rhythms interspersed with colorful percussions, melodies and vocals that lead to ecstasy.
It’s generally a mix of hard techno, hard groove, hard trance with its love for old school but a great curiosity for new styles and genres. He also likes to experiment with samples and vocals from local and ethno music that he inserts through his performance. Vazdaisti is a name that has been heard and known in the underground rave scene in BiH and is making its way.

The Nusery's second release of 2018 is a solo release by the hands of JC Laurent, a talented Frenchman who's been putting out top notch techno for the better part of a decade. 

Over that course of time, JC has developed a mature sound which is demonstrated fiercely on the EP's first track Dissonances. While thunderous kickdrums are making way for phasing synthesis, even the littlest of drum patterns are enough to keep tension sky high without exception. 

This formula is maintained throughout the tracks that follow. Whether it's the slightly dreamier Groom Lake, the tight sequences of the title track Soaring Over or the eerie, outer space vibe in Surveillance Plane: neither of them comprises anything more than that which is strictly necessary. And that is what makes Soaring Over EP the stellar piece of work that it is, four powerful cuts that are just waiting to make heads turn.

The track we selected for this DT:Premiere is the opener titled “Receiving” that runs with the communication theme and focuses on a burly beat with hypnotic pulses that create suspense as they build in ferocity. Raw and intelligent, it’s a dance floor workout with a prodigious sound that’s trippy, engaging and powerful.
