Jepe lands on Surrrealism with "Portraits EP".

The Portuguese talent signs a beautifully crafted release, combining all his skills for a myriad of aural sensations in 4 formidable tracks. Alican is the perfect guest to put the finishing touch with a high-flying remix.

"Portraits" leads the way. With a surgeon's subtlety, Jepe delights us with his most sensual side. A waste of elegant and warm sounds, accompanied by a masterful Vars who with his voice enhances the beauty of a track for fine ears. Activate your senses, Jepe is in the house.

"Wutzsee" is the second track of this story. Once you've warmed up, it's time to tighten the screws. Showing his versatility, the Portuguese virtuoso changes his jacket to show us another of his facets. A rhythm marked with a melody that advances stealthily towards the abyss. We proudly present the release of “Places We Know”, a bold new two-track EP from Argentinian-born, Portugal-based producer Ignacio Arfeli.
With Places We Know, Arfeli pushes deeper into his sonic identity — embracing emotion, experimentation, and tension in equal measure. Across two carefully crafted tracks, the EP captures a duality between introspective melody and unrelenting club energy.
Speaking on the EP, Arfeli shares:
“Places We Know is a special EP for me. It’s one where I allowed myself complete creative freedom and honesty. The title track reflects my deep connection to melodic arpeggios while maintaining the dark, raw energy that defines my sound — driven by those mechanical, almost robotic vocals.”
While the title track leans into a cinematic atmosphere anchored by signature techno textures, “Stop” ventures into more experimental territory:
“Stop stands out as one of the experimental pieces I’ve produced. It’s an honest snapshot of what I was feeling in the studio at that moment. The track experiments with a fusion of techno and mid-tempo, creating an unexpected blend that challenges genre boundaries. It’s a polarizing piece — you’ll either connect with it instantly or not at all. There’s no middle ground, and that’s exactly how I wanted it.”

Ignacio Arfeli - Stop

Romanian techno force Audio State (RO) returns to EXTIMA with a powerful two-track release that showcases his unmistakable signature: high-impact peak-time energy fused with hypnotic finesse. Following the success of his acclaimed Sentient Beings EP in 2022 from EXTIMA, Audio State now teams up with rising international talents JSMN (Brooklyn) and Darren Irvine (UK), pushing the boundaries of dancefloor-driven techno with a global touch.

Opening the EP, "Dream Sequence" — a collaboration with JSMN — is a peak-time bomb primed for big rooms. Commanding kickdrums and a pulsating groove set the foundation, while dark atmospheric layers and a haunting vocal add depth and tension. The breakdown takes a surprising twist with breakbeat influences, building into a massive drop that guarantees explosive crowd reactions. It's hypnotic, raw, and irresistibly effective.

On the flip side, "Nexus", created with Darren Irvine, delivers another peak-time masterpiece. The arrangement is tighter and more linear, driven by punchy low-end power and a catchy, stripped-back melodic motif. It's a no-nonsense, rolling techno weapon that reflects both producers' dancefloor sensibilities.

Audio State continues to affirm his place among the next wave of influential techno artists. With support from icons like Charlotte de Witte, Enrico Sangiuliano, Joyhauser, and Joseph Capriati, and previous releases on Terminal M, Unrilis, and Legend Records, his path is one marked by consistency, evolution, and artistic depth. This EP not only reinforces his reputation, but also introduces two promising collaborators poised to make waves in their own right.

Dream Sequence / Nexus is a reminder that the future of techno is collaborative, global, and very much alive.
