The next installment of the Senso Sounds Level series sees us hit edition 9 - with another exciting
crop of artists to watch. 80 releases in and Senso continues to keep the quality at an almost
unthinkable level - and here is yet more evidence. Level 9 is four cuts from four artists - starting
off with Weltenstein, a DJ live act, classical concert pianist and producer based in Cologne.
He brings us 'Chiapas' - a tough-as-nails techno roller with crisp percussion and an aggressive
temperament. The Kech is a musician and DJ from Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. His 'Strong Liquid'
track is a hypnotic, grooving tech cut that pulls you into its spell. The Russian artist Lie2you has
been receiving a lot of support from techno royalty like Dubfire and Richie Hawtin, and here with
'Find The Way' we are blessed with an exceptional piece of highly dynamic techno, built for big
systems and primed to hit hard. Last up is Roman Adam’s trippy, spacy techno journey to outer
space 'Dark Side of the Moon'. Inspired by the Senso back catalogue, Adam’s track is the sound
of him musing on the unknown, and imagining an exciting journey of discovery - a perfect fit for
the label.

A single figure stands petrified in the portal before you, its stony form dwarfing the nearby landscape of similar mineral makeup that seems to have birthed it into this world. Indeed, all that you see amidst this plane is barren stone and ashen sky, as though all other life had been consumed by the gigantic humanoid sculpture that dominates this vision. It would be easy to describe the land before you as lifeless, and yet from the cracked hide of the behemoth glows a faint reddish hue reminiscent of a rising dawn. There is an energy that suffuses the giant, a spark of divinity granted by an unknown hand. Wordlessly through the portal, it calls out to you, and thus by divinity you find yourself drawn between the planes once again. 

HIBOO makes his VISION SERPENT debut with THE GOLEM IS COMING, a single that draws on its namesake’s stature with a series of unrelenting basslines that meld with and are infused by an animating overdriven arpeggio. As the vocal sample within instructs an introspective course, THE GOLEM IS COMING combines these elements to entrance listeners in awe of its gargantuan presence.

A haunting scene unfolds, where the skies churn with dark clouds, casting ominous shadows over a burning cityscape. In the center of this turbulent terrain stands a bound stranger, resembling a mummy, with its head bowed in resignation or reflection. The figure above the rising waters appears to be both a witness and a victim of the surrounding chaos. The tension in the air is palpable—what radical experience brought about this eerie stillness? Is this figure a symbol of defeat, or does it hold untold secrets of resilience amidst the devastation?

Rad.Lez and sin:port present "Radical Experience," a true adrenaline bomb, pulling listeners into a storm of basslines and sharp rhythms. Gabriel Moraes' remix dives even deeper, adding layers of tension and driving the track with merciless force. The release continues with "Strategic Retreat," an equally commanding piece that delivers a more intricate yet intense atmosphere, followed by David Phoenix's reimagination, which distills the track into a clean groove with steady shots that keep the listener moving.
