Hailing from Darmstadt, Germany - Tom Wax has dedicated himself whole heartedly over the duration of a long and fruitful career. Collaborations with CJ Bolland, Mijk van Dijk and Marshall Jefferson, his work with Thorsten Adler on R&S Records and his extensive 100 + remix catalogue are just some of the insignias across a gilded resume and now, he adds to his sizeable back catalogue with 2 stroppy Techno grooves. 'NXT LVL SHT' kicks things off with a flurry of adrenaline. Filtered synths sharpen their edges against one another while a kick thunders underneath. Hair-raising vocals intermittently send out signals, punctuating an explosive big-room banger before 'The Terminator' does exactly what it says on the tin. Masterful tension management sees the track dip and duck unexpectedly as trippy vocals take the limelight before heavyweight drum work gallops back in with plenty of horsepower.

Rebranded, reinvigorated and recharged, Kaiserdisco is back once again at KD RAW with the behemoth that is the Snakes EP. This slithering collection of relentless techno stompers has been a staple in the Kaiserdisco sets for a while now and is ready to be released onto the world.

On the A1-side we find Taipan: large, fast-moving, highly venomous, and endemic to every dark brooding club the label head honchos have toured this summer. 

On the B-side we find Python. While non venomous, this ferocious groover and modular synth induced stabs are sure to stun its listener. 

On closing duties, we find the intro tool called Viper, with its hinged fangs its venom feels similar to this slowly building climax tool.

Kaiserdisco - Python (Original Mix) - KD RAW

Loose Records focuses on groovy techno, and is the sister label to Unrilis. The label has a focus on emerging talent, and it put out early releases from names like Luigi Madonna, Roberto Capuano, Raffaele Rizzi and Hybrasil.

The new release welcomes Martin Kinrus who has worked with Metodi Hristov's Set About and Ramon Tapia's Say What? label for example.

Martin Kinrus is from Buenos Aires in Argentina, where he is a part of the country's rising scene, which is fast becoming a breeding ground for a variety of techno talent.

First of the three original tracks to feature on this EP is 'Bandit' that starts with the relentless pounding of a distorted kick drum, which is joined by a pulsating bassline, and ominous euphoria of a powerful lead synth. Following the same formula, 'Basic' takes a similar approach, but only deeper and more hypnotic. 'Ritual' closes the release in epic style with trippy vocals and aggressive momentum.
