To cope with this surreal and unprecedented past year, I turned to music to ease my mind and soothe my soul. I invested positive energy into my DJ livestreams, which debuted in April 2020 and continue to this day. I’ve been able to connect with so many friends and fans, both new and old, all over the world, through our passion for great music. Last summer, that inspiration led to a 2-part music mix called #stayhouse to bring light into our darkest days. This spring, I am doing the same but with a different style and intention. This 2-part series is called “Annoconfinamento” (which means “Lockdown Year” in Italian) and brings a collection of intense, intelligent, and deep yet driving progressive energy together for a magnificent immersion in unmistakable, remarkable sound. Part I eases you into the groove with electro bubbling basslines and synths, and slowly builds with intention and intensity. Part II boldly opens with one of my favourite songs from 2020, and the driving energy and life-giving forces continue throughout the audio adventure. Arguably one of the most perfectly programmed and well-curated Remark mixes of all time, I hope you enjoy parts I and II of this Annoconfinamento aural journey…

Feel Good Flow

Die Sonne scheint durch die dünne Zeltwand direkt in mein Gesicht. Ich erwache mit einem lauten und befreienden Nießen, strampel mich aus dem Decken, Kissen und Zelt Gewirr.
Endlich raus an die Frische Luft.
Ich atme tief ein und aus. Auf meinen Lippen schmecke ich das salzige Aroma des Meeres. 

Mit hastigen Schritten laufe ich über den heißen Sand die Dünne hinauf. Immer schneller tragen mich meine Beine in Richtung der natürlich gewachsenen Empore.

Oben angekommen lasse ich meinen Blick schweifen. Genieße das tiefe weite Blau des Meeres. 
Am Horizont mache ich einige kleine Punkte aus, Freude durchflutet meinen gesamten Körper. Ein Schrei dringt aus meiner Kehle, laut und klar hallt er über das unruhige Wasser. 
Ich lade meine Pistole und gebe einen Schuss in die Luft. 
Rauch steigt auf... sie sind wieder zurück, mit jeder Menge Beute im Form von Gold und Frauen.
