Giri, also known as Gi Napoletano, is a Naples-born electronic music producer and DJ with a deep-rooted passion for sound design, synths, and vinyl. Influenced by Detroit techno and '90s/2000s UK techno, his style is defined by hypnotic grooves, complex textures, and industrial atmospheres. A pivotal moment in his career came in 2021 with the release of Antichthon, a 19-track concept album on Axis Records, the legendary label founded by Jeff Mills. The project was part of Mills’ Escape Velocity series and marked a major artistic milestone, showcasing Giri’s ability to blend futuristic vision with rhythmic precision. Prior to that, he released EPs on Evod, Awry, Prophet, and others. He also runs Antiterra Records, founded in 2020, and continues to release music under various aliases.

German duo Obscure Shape & SHDW drop three robust Techno tracks in their first full release on Rekids this May.

One of the most exciting acts in Techno today, Obscure Shape & SHDW are the founders of From Another Mind - the label and party series making waves in South-Germany. Aside from Rekids, where they remixed Radio Slave’s ‘Vision’ last year, the pair’s abilities in the studio have seen them invited by Slam for two separate remixes of Monoloc and Envoy on Soma, with more projects to be announced.

‘Himmel Und Erde’ is a cavernous cut boasting colossal kicks and skipping percussion before a tantalising melody comes into play. ‘Am Ende Der Welt’ is more deep and atmospheric in comparison, blending dusky percussion with echoing synths until ‘Gefallene Engel’ demonstrates syncopated drums and an otherworldly hook that conjure up a mesmerising aesthetic to conclude the release.

Paris-based DJ & producer AIROD aka Dario Brkic returns to Amelie Lens’ Lenske for his second 12” on the Belgian label, ‘Rave Cycle’. Previous solo EPs on Molekul, on his Elixyr and the acclaimed ‘Voltage’ EP on Lenske earlier this year have brought him to play at some of the most emblematic clubs of the international circuit and become part of the Exhale showcases. Lights Out brings you an exclusive premiere from techno talent Under Black Helmet. Taken from his forthcoming debut album 'It Emerged From Nothing', 'Radiate' is a driving techno tool filled with rave energy. Radiate begins with a massive thumping kick drum and scratchy percussion, working its way to a break which then introduces a menacing and pulsing bassline that adds serious drive to the track. As things progress, percussion intensifies as an eerie pad weaves throughout the soundscape, creating an intense atmosphere suited perfectly for a warehouse or club. Radiate will be available on January 29th in vinyl and digital formats.

Korpus 9 meets Colombian master of experimental techno better known as Gotshell previously released on such labels as Planet Rhythm, Sleaze Records, Suara, and now breaks into business without knocking on the door with exceptional EP called Lost Gateway. 

It all starts with heavy kick of Gate one accompanied by a static acid bass line bringing a portion of serious character to the storytelling. As soon as we hear some truly experimental stuff with maddening vocals and breath of unidentified human being on one side and trippy acid deforming line from another - that's Gate two for sure. Gate three lands us a little bringing Eastern meditative sounds deftly engineered with fine airy synthline. Last but not least Gate four sums it up with crazy set of sounds skilfully connected to each other turning into a full-fledged techno track. Exclusive cover complements and further describes these underground compositions.

Definitely crafted to put in a bag, from Korpus 9, with love!
